Sorry if this has already been a thread or something, but does anyone know any good blogs that are covering the game pre-release? If you post them here, I'll add them to this post so anyone who wants to look at them can :)

Props to Kaeliae for:

http://nfgcrossing.tumblr.com/
http://www.sosostris.com/
http://www.thebitblock.com/2013/05/0...ew-beginnings/ (Mayor Joshua had a blog to go with it this time)

TheBitBlock (on Youtube - also known as WiiFolderJosh) will be uploading video journals of the English version. He hasn't done any yet, but he did just download the game. Expect a video sometime this weekend! :D

Yea I know of him! I'll add him

Yes our own acnewleaf.com

Yes I knew that :) any others though! Like Jennifer, didn't know about her.

No offense your blog looks like it was designed in the late 90's /whale biologist

Please, Torotix. Maintaining a site takes a huge time commitment. I know, I've had a blog before.

Jeff, you got me hooked. I'm subscribing to your blog.

Maintaining a site is one thing. Setting it up with a decent web design should be a higher priority than it is here. Believe it or not, looks are very important in web design, and believe it or not, it's really really not hard to implement a functioning, modern-looking design. I've both coded CSS for web design/studied it as well as studied design and yes, ran a blog before. Even free CSS designs are available that look like they were from at least the past 5 years.

I apologise Jeff, I don't mean to sound like I'm really having a go at your website, I'm just trying to explain to orange that it is an important part of making a good website.

I agree with Torotix's posts.

Just like most things on the internet, how it looks is going to be one of the first things a viewer runs through their mind. If things are not aesthetically pleasing to a point then some people aren't even going to bother, even if the site is packed full of things they are looking for.
Making things look nice and making them easy to navigate are two major ways in making a site successful.

I know all of this. I'm no html mogul. Never cared to actually learn html as I could get by just by spending enough money on Rapidweaver and buy themes for my website.

All I'm saying is that it came across as a bit rude. Funny. Maybe. Rude. A bit.

A bit rude and off-topic...but point taken. There's always room for improvement, and I'm going to try to make my blogs look a little better over the next couple days. But let's not hijack WhitneyLeigh23's thread with this. If you have any more comments about it, please send me a private message.

Ooh this is kinda bad....

I was ok looking at japanese blogs because I knew I wouldn't be spoiling english dialog.....but now it's here and there's still over a month to go. D:
