How many people agree with me that once you pay off your last debt in Animal Crossing ( Gamecube ) The stupid trophy shouldnt say ERECTED!! let me explain myn "This Trphy was Erected in honor of Harrison paying off all loans" something like that.. but why erected!! it haunts me!! and it annoys the hell out of me!! in City Folk when i get to the end of the game i better not be ERECTED i wanna be Celebrated in Honor or Built in honor or somethign like that.. NOT *erected**Dun DUnDUnnnnnn* So who agrees?

Just thinking the same thing. I never thought of it that way, and I don't see much of a problem with it. With this generation, everything is something bad...

Amen to that my homey

i think it's like....how is that word usually used? And how do most people hear it.....?? I personally don't care BUT there are nicer words lol

True there are nicer words, but I think the general public should have more common sense than that. I coulldn't count how many high school kids would snicker at it. Man I feel old XD

So, what you're saying here is that you feel's uncomfrontable with that particular word? Well....... I see no problem. Sadly, in our society, one word with a good meaning can easily change to another word with a bad meaing

man this society butchered up words like crazy. Everything usually means something dirty or out of context to at least someone out there.

ain't THAT the truth.....

I don't see the problem. I'm sure people would get giggles out of that though....or be haunted by it?

I mean, half of the things that meant something about ten years ago, mean something vulgar or slang nowadays. Like back in B.C. the used the term donkey (other name that I'm not gonna say) as a donkey. But now it means a total vulgar term. And gay, used to mean happy. Now it means a dude married or loving a dude.

Ahahaha there are lots of perverts out there that can't take something seriously. Nowadays every word is a bard word. How long has it been that someone really used the word gay in the happy way? LOL >_<

Erected is a common word meaning 'to be built' or 'to be put up' but with television and common slang language, this is now taken in a negative or funny connotation, rather than the simple word and meaning that was intended.

Jeez, you wouldn't be able to stand Team Fortress 2 and all of the Sentries and Dispensers you'd be erecting.

erecting means something else other than building or putting something up???

i guess i should've listened better in 7th grade health class haha

Seriously, though, that's what the word means, and they used it just fine... no big deal
