You can request a date-trade in the TBT Marketplace. That's when you trade a collectible with a date you don't want for another that you want for a lineup. I've done this a few times before : )

well and then threads like the "Impossible Lineups Thread" exist, because some dates for collectibles just aren't a thing. so while they technically can be re-ordered, it would be cool to place them wherever you'd like without having to rely on the date attached to the collectible(s).

i hope this is the right thread to discuss this, but i'd like to suggest extending the "no ai entries" rule to avatar & signature events. imo it should be discouraged to generate AI images entirely and not just for making a grandiose art piece if that makes sense. it disrespects artists and has a horrible impact on the environment no matter what its intended use is.
edit can we also encourage crediting art, 'cause omg the amount of uncredited artists!

I have a suggestion if there are plans to have another stocking stuffers event in the future. I was thinking maybe have us fill out a form that tells a bit about our interests; a form or some reference sheet kinda like how @Balverine had us do for the secret santa art thread 
. If I have time, I’d like to do more drawings for more members, the problem is that I don’t know everyone well or their interests and I don’t think I’ll always be able to find it by searching threads.
I really love the concept behind the activity! I’d like to see this again or another canvas crossing.

I prefer the 2018 variant of stocking stuffers, which had ACNL items for a general situation rather than for specific members.I have a suggestion if there are plans to have another stocking stuffers event in the future. I wasn’t here for that, so I don’t know what that was like. I think it depends on how they structured the event. They could allow a few different ways to do it. The listing other interests could be just an optional thing to fill out on the form
. Since there are some members that probably are more into other games than animal crossing, while there are others who may strictly like animal crossing things.
I was thinking this as well! Which isn’t a big deal, especially as the snowflakes are super generous so skipping an event isn’t stressful. But if I had access to forms like this, I’d totally draw a couple—bonus points if the interest sheets could be “claimed” so I could draw ones that hadn’t been done yet.

What would your response be to this? Award collectibles (except for trophies and team champion awards) become tradable or giftable. Some members have been interested in doing stuff like this for about a decade, but we never got to do that.
I would be opposed to this decision since that would destroy the meaning behind why you won the collectibles. Also, some may do this, but the regret this decision.

I thought there was a thread that discussed release date of collectibles and I can't find it.
If it is gone, is it possible to somehow have initial launch dates recorded somewhere for new collectibles?
Does anyone know if white violets existed prior to 2020?

I just noticed something about the events from this year and last year.
2023 seems to be a parallel to 2016. There was a night-sky summer event, new glow wands, a new type of Halloween event, and the introduction or change to daily raffles.
2024 seems to be a parallel to 2017. The summer event brings nostalgia, new arcade collectibles were introduced, the Halloween event was repeated, there was a New Leaf event, and no new or retiring staff members.
Do you think 2025 might be a parallel to 2018?

it doesn't extend beyond january 2020 releases though, so i think it would be really helpful for us to make an updated version
edit: since this post ive been working on creating an updated version if anyone's curious or awaiting one. ive been working on it the entirety of this day but there's a lot to write down so its probably gonna take
