My signature got a new update. I don't post here a lot but today I'm doing it anyway just so I can explain why it's like this.

This is a modification of the signature banner I used when I was active on the Scratch Discussion Forums, which looks like this:

The characters shown are Bob (left) and J (right). Bob is one of my OCs and is the namesake of my username. J serves as my persona. The reason why the signature says "since 2016" instead of "since 2022" is because my very first account on the internet was on Scratch, and I made it on the year 2016. Scratch is celebrating its anniversary week, so that's why I'm having this for a bit.

It's something that fits my Purple Rose and Spring Sakura lineup really well, fanart of Raiden Shogun and Yae Sakura from Genshin Impact. I've used this image elsewhere before, so it's perhaps fitting that it now serves as my signature as well.

My current signature is my cat Spanky dressed as Ferdinand von Aegir from Fire Emblem Three Houses; @Yanrima~ did a fantastic job making this for me . I wanted a signature to go with my avatar and I thought since my avatar was Jewels to have her sister in my signature .

The story behind this is when I first adopted Spanky, one of the names I was considering was Furrdinand von Aegir. I was still very active on Billy Kametz’s discord (he’s the English voice actor for Ferdinand). On cat twitter, i used to sometimes refer to Spanky as Spanky von Aegir in the cat account chat on twitter (there is a lot of “roleplaying” and photo editing there). In the same stream that eventually gave me the idea to name Spanky, Spanky (the one where Billy named the scarab in skyward sword Spanky; a couple of us fans wanted him to call it Spanky von Aegir, if I remember correctly).

I like think of this as another way to commemorate Billy; he helped me decide on the name for Spanky after all .
