Face Paint!

Makes me wonder if that goatee we saw in the direct was face paint.

Do you think it'll use new tools for drawing on the face, or the familiar QR pattern pixel grid?

I mentioned this in another thread, but we can have transparency in custom patterns, which is likely means that it was intended for this feature!

I don’t think you’ll have to use the grid but I hope it at least gives guidelines to see where you’re drawing. I can’t wait to add freckles!

I was originally going to use blush on my character, but once someone mention face paint, I have to admit, I got a little overly excited. If I can, I may use a butterfly pattern if I can find one. I also may switch between the blush features and the face paint, just for fun and more variety. I have yet to decided fully. xD

This is exciting! I’m Pocket Camp, I use the little heart that they gave out during the valentine’s event. I definitely would like the option to have something like that in game!

I knew it was going to be faceprint. I figured Nintendo wouldnt limit it to just makeup. This way you will probably be able to put shapes and stuff all over your face to celebrate holidays, sports, facial features, etc. Now im definitely excited for this game to come out. Imagine it's Super Bowl and you want to celebrate your favourite team on AC. Just smear on your favourite teams colours on your face. Or celebrate St.Patty's day by throwing a bit of green color or valentines day with hearts on the cheeks and pink makeup.

i am SO excited for this feature!!!
personally I've been dying to add eyebrows to my character, but I can imagine people adding cute makeup or freckles and fantasy markings - it's such a cool addition!!!!!!

Hmm, why does it say Face Paint/Other though when it's just Face Paint? Also why do we have to choose gender when we can pick our looks however we like, like how would gender then change the custom designs?

It's a very fun feature though, I don't think I'll use it because I doubt that it would look good on the high quality villager.
