Fang the Cranky Wolf

I personally love his design and in New Leaf he had quite feminine quirks in dressing and also in his apoearance, especially around the eyes. The combination with his deep voice and manly name was just really appealing to me.
The cranky personality is also my fave, so that helps. I also liked his classic style decoration and he was one of the first villagers I got.
Honestly, I can't really understand how anyone can not go nuts over him. Bla bla each their own, nonsense. He is just awesome.

Iâve had both Fang and Chief in NL and theyâre two of my favorite wolves in the game. The only time I donât keep Fang around is if I also have Whitney in town because they look very similar.
Yeah, I saw him eating a sandwich when I first got into his house, which also has a cool decoration, very old skool. He's also always implying he's old, and his house's deco matches this idea nicely.

So, I really want to like Fang. I like Chief and Wolfgang, two other Cranky wolves, and I want to see why Fang is so popular. In other words: help me see the light that is Fang!
I thought he was Whitney at first lol.
Fang is a sweetheart, even though he's a cranky. He's very caring and he's a little softie once he opens up to you. He reminds me of a grandpa and I love him. Also even though he's a cranky he's very cheery and he's always saying funny but relatable stuff.

I had Fang in New Leaf and I have him again in New Horizons and I absolutely love him. He's one of my favorites. I know he's supposed to be a cranky, but he never seems cranky to me. He's always so friendly although I notice he sometimes upsets the other villagers and one day he looked upset and when I talked to him he told me he just can't seem to talk to other people very well. They never understand him.
It's a bit of a weird question.
If you think about it - it all comes down to personal preferences.
The crankies are all the same but they all look different - that's why you'll have people liking all kinds of villagers regardless of their species and personality. Some people have their own personal dreamies that aren't at all popular.
Then there are others which like 98% people love.
For example, lots of people love Marshall but I don't find him particularly appealing so no matter how much someone would try to convince me to love him, I just wouldn't.
So if you don't like a certain villager, just let them go to a good home/sell them, etc.
There's really no point in forcing yourself to like a villager if you don't naturally.

In new leaf I had fang beau julian ankha diane bud o'hare Cobb Goldie I cany believe how many tier 1s I had without time traveling or anything... fang was cool then I see a real wolf I get julian then I see a real unicorn I had a crush on beau I really used to like this game for the characters a lot they felt like actually my friends.... idunno how I feel about that now lol
