Favorite Holiday?

Just curious to see what other people like. For me I've always liked Christmas because you get to dress up and be your favorite character for a day (is it just me).

I quite enjoy Halloween, followed by Christmas. I like to dress up, I like those Christmas 'ugly sweaters', I love giving & receiving gifts, and in the game, I love to participate in holiday things, like helping Jack and Jingle.

Spooky Day. Christmas is a close runner up.

Spooky Day because I love the decorations and it's very "me." I also love handing out candy and spooking up the house all pretty!

Christmas because I love giving gifts and I always go crazy and spend way too much money, but I love it!

The winter is home to the best holidays, and the worst (Valentine’s Day).

I like Hall0ween for the spooky vibes, decorations, and excuse to marathon horror movies, although it's not very big where I live. We try to dress up at work but usually falls through because we spend most of our energy on decorations lol. All the cheesy Asian horror movies start playing in the cinema too which is awesome.

I also enjoy chuseok, Korean thanksgiving, because of the food. Tbh I like most holidays for the food and hospitality (i'm usually celebrating with friends and their families).

But really, I love Christmas the most. It's so nice getting and giving.

Thanksgiving, that is the day that my whole family get together and make the best food.
I barely get any family time because of work, I had to move away from my parents, which is why I love this day.
As a family of four and my uncle and aunty and our 2 neighbours, we all separately have to make 2 dishes.
The ladies in the family (me, mum, aunty, and one of our neighbours) have to cook a dessert this year.
Last year we cooked the main savoury dishes, and boy, did we do way better than the men, lol!
So that leaves the men this time (dad, brother, uncle, one of our neighbours) to cook the savoury.
The thing is that we can’t cook the same things than the other people in the family.
And once we're done, mum puts all 16 dishes onto the main table when nobody’s looking.
And then the next morning, we wake up to the smell and sight of all the great dishes spread on the dining table!
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a babyish tradition but I feel that it’s still fun to do. Love it.

I love Christmas time! It's my favourite holiday, but my family doesn't really celebrate it anymore since my mum celebrates Yule instead. However, last Christmas I got to spend Christmas Day with my boyfriend and his family and it reminded me how wonderful Christmas is.
