I've been spending a lot of time on YouTube but aside from a handful of channels I don't have much in my feed that isn't gaming related, so I'm curious what others are into currently.

I do follow a few educational channels like Ask A Mortician and ThoughtSlime

I mostly media reviews, reactions and essays outside of gaming. And some general commentary, nothing in particular.

i watch:
yourmoviesucks and i hate everything for film stuff

count dankula, internet historian and jontron for comedy stuff

oversimplified for history stuff

the hockey guy for my hockey fix

and that's about it, I haven't watched gaming channels in a few years, kinda grew out of them I guess? vinesauce just wasnt doing it for me anymore

Lol, there’s only four YouTube channels I actively look for new videos from, and even then I‘m not subscribed to anyone.

I watch FlyntofRWBY, NateWantsToBattle/Give Heart Records, and Studio Yuraki’s videos that contain music from anime shows and TV shows.

Also watch Quackity for comedy (he has some videos that contain gaming discussion and gameplay in them, but he’s not really a gaming YouTuber).

I don't really actively watch specific Youtube channels anymore, but Ashens is always good for some fun reviews of random stuff. He occasionally reviews gaming related things, but it's not a gaming channel.

The youtubers I watch are mainly light hearted channels and have a lot of humor in them. I’ll make a list, I recommend all of them because they tend to distract me and get me in a better mood if I am having a rough day.

Commentary channels:
Drew Gooden
Danny Gonzalez
Kurtis Connor

I-don’t-know-how-to-categorize-them-so-I’ll-put-a-little-description-of-them-in channels:
How to Cake It: baking channel
Jaiden Animations: Animator!!
Safiya Nygard: Mostly crafting in a funny way
brian david gilbert: just funky and does skits

That seems to be most of the ones I like! They are all kinda funny and weird, Jaiden does tend to animate Pokémon things though so she might be considered half and half

I don’t like YouTube much anymore for the most part. Since I don’t take guitar lessons anymore I like to watch YouTubers who play. It inspires me to keep playing. Some of my favorites are Josephine Alexandra, Piotr Czumlas, Eiro Nareth, Sungha Jung, and Lanve. I hope I got all the spellings correct. This post took me way to long to make because of all the spellings.

My favorite would probably be Dan Bell. The Dead Mall series is great, he used to do more urban exploration back in the day that was cool, Another Dirty Room is pretty fun and entertaining, and he occasionally makes little documentaries and stuff like Freaks and Monsters. He also has a side channel called Dan Bell / Film It where other stuff gets uploaded. Generally just good, fun stuff.

Other non-gaming stuff I like would include Ask A Mortician, Bright Sun Films, Buzzfeed Unsolved, Cayleigh Elise (she eventually quit YouTube and deleted the channel, unfortunately), Defunctland, Drawfee, ReignBot, Rob Gavagan, The Chilluminati Podcast, and The Paranormal Files. There are probably more I'm forgetting to mention too, but those are the ones that come to mind.

Redline Reviews,Alex On Autos-Car reviews and new car information.
KBDProductionsTV-Funny Canadian guy eats weird food at gas stations and restaurants
Steve Wallis--Another Canadian guy who does a lot of "stealth" camping and regular camping videos.
Colin Furze-Spastic Brit who makes a lot of weird inventions
Steve1989MREInfo-This guy eats military rations from different countries."Let's get this out onto a tray.Nice."
Urinating Tree-Caustic,funny sports commentary
Regular Cars-Mr.Regular test drives old and sometimes unusual cars owned by ordinary people
Car Throttle-Funny Brits mess around with cars
Adventures With Christian-Guy from Las Vegas travels around the Nevada desert, mostly near Area 51 and bothers the "camo dudes".Hasn't been very active lately though.

The majority of you-tubers I watch are gaming channels, so my list isn't exactly that big compared to my actual subscription list. If we're just talking about the main ones that I watch and am really into right now, i'd have to go for these...
  • Binging with Babish - Super cool guy, his channel is focused on recreating food seen in popular movies/shows/games etc.
  • Cold Ones - Two grown adults mess around in their drunken stupor, sometimes while interviewing other people
  • Internet Historian - Funniest videos i've ever watched in my life, guaranteed to get a few laughs out of me which is rare these days
  • Michael Reeves - A nerd who makes funny robots while simultaneously berating his viewers for almost everything
  • TheOdd1sOut & Jaiden Animations - Both animation/comedy story-telling channels, and pretty funny to boot
I think that about covers it, but yeah as you can probably see from my choices, I tend to prefer more humorous content in general. I find that anything that's too serious or touches on sensitive topics seems to bog me down a bit, so I try to avoid that part of YouTube and any news/drama channels.

I'm actually not subscribed to many gaming channels. They're usually about technology, history, or some other topics. A few of the YouTubers I'm subscribed to are Unbox Therapy, Marques Brownlee, Austin Evans, Hugh Jefferys, Bright Sun Films, The 8-Bit Guy, Company Man, LGR, ExplainingComputers, and World War Two (TimeGhost). There are some that don't really fit into that category like NFKRZ (commentary), JerryRigEverything (phone durability test and teardowns), My Mate VINCE (repairing items), and TheWolfePit (cooking).

I don't subscribe to anything on YouTube, but I do try to keep up with zefrank1's videos, especially his True Facts series about different animal species. His videos combine my love of animals with some very humorous (although occasionally adult-oriented) commentary.

I watch a lot of cooking videos. I wash Binging with Babish, sometimes the Korean or Japanese ASMR cooking videos if the thumbnail is cute but I mute the video because I don't like the ASMR part of it.

I used to watch a lot of vlogbrothers and a lot of the educational channels.

I tend to watch/listen to commentary and science based channels when I’m not watching/listening to gaming or music channels.

honestly, i watch a lot of drama channels like tea spill and spill - most of the drama revolves around youtubers i have no interest in but i find that kind of stuff entertaining lmao.

i also enjoy my fair share of makeup videos and for that, nikkietutorials might be my favourite - unproblematic but still very talented aha. but honestly, i mainly just use youtube to watch random videos or listen to music as there’s not much content on there that interests me aha

I really like reactions channels like Blind Wave and The Normies. I also watch smaller reactors like Aege&Chill and ShredderFTW. I also subscribe to some YouTube couples like Sign Duo, Slice & Rice, and Jin & Juice. Then I also watch Philip Defranco and Two Set Violin. A lot of other non-gaming channels/content I watch aren't stuff I'm subscribed to but get recommended to me like mini documentaries about random topics, auditions and other stuff. I tend to like searching my favourite clips of movies/shows a lot too XD

I like stuff about strange events and people, so two I'd recommend for that are Atrocity Guide and Fredrik Knudsen (Down the Rabbit Hole) there's some really interesting stuff on both those channels. I also like the Internet Historian, pretty funny coverage of stuff that's happened because of the internet
