Favorite video game you've played recently?

i've seen so many good things about balatro but haven't played it yet. is it really THAT good??? not doubting it, just curious. it looks kind of simple. does it get repetitive?

I have maybe 120 hours on balatro and it’s still so good. The RNG makes it so it doesn’t feel that repetitive and the collector in me wants to collect all the jokers so it forces me to try different joker combinations

also there’s different deck types & challenge modes to keep things spicy if needed

Balatro is so good, and it's cheap too! If you like card games and/or rogue-lite games you'll probably like it, it has a satisfying grind. I'd say pick it up, no harm in trying it out and seeing how you like it, you'll know if it's for you or not before 2 hours of gameplay.

I just completed the puzzle detective trilogy Enigmatis. I really enjoyed this series. It does get a little repetitive with some of the mini games, but the story was really fun and enjoyable. They’re all three intriguing and super affordable! If you enjoy puzzle games and detective story games I suggest trying it! It’s not overly complicated and the story is suitable for everyone to follow along! There was some spooky moments and a jump scare but it wasn’t bad! If you played the We Were Here series it has similar mechanics, but it is a solo player!

I can vouch for Balatro too! I think I’m gonna be chipping away at gold stakes for those last two achievements for a long time. The jokers are super creative, the challenges are cool, there’s a lot of excitement to that game. Even the music didn’t get old for me yet and I also have 100+h.
