In no specific order:
Raymond, because I actually like him. I wasn't sure I understood the hype at first, but he really grew on me.
Marshal, because he's freaking adorable and I just love him. And his and Raymond's conversations are ridiculous.
Antonio, because he talks about his 8-pack abs while eating a chocolate covered doughnut.
Fauna, because she's just so sweet.
I could probably add a few more but these are my faves.

I really like Colton, Poppy, Knox, Sterling, Raymond, Genji, Muffy, Reneigh, Pekoe, all the wolves, and, really there are too many. I like a lot of the villagers I've had. But the ones listed here are ones that I would hate to let move away.

All of the octopus villagers, but I think Marina is my fav. The octopus is my favorite animal, so it's only natural that I have all of them in NH.
my favourite is katt because she's super cute and reminds me of catra from she-ra ♡
i also love axel, judy, stitches, julian, rosie, raymond, whitney, apollo, alfonso, fauna and maple because they are all the most adorable villagers

Cesar is my favorite villager of all time. If I could only have one villager it would definitely be him.
My other favorites are Rocco, Bubbles, Deli, Jambette, Tabby, and Violet. As soon as New Horizons had a release date I bought all their amiibo cards so I would be ready to scan em all in.
It’s hard to say why they’re my favorite other than I just think they’re all extremely cute. Rocco I do have a long history with him in City Folk though.
My other favorites are Rocco, Bubbles, Deli, Jambette, Tabby, and Violet. As soon as New Horizons had a release date I bought all their amiibo cards so I would be ready to scan em all in.

I would have to say my top five are:
1. Willow - She was one of my orginal villagers from my first Animal Crossing game (New Leaf), and she is still in my town to this day after 6 years.
2. Phoebe - She was also a villager I had in New Leaf, and I felll in love with her design! She is still in my New Leaf town!
3. Teddy - Once again another villager I had in New Leaf, and I got him from the void of a friend I used to play with a long time, so he brings back good memories. He still is in my New Leaf town today!
4. Ankha - I got her in New Horizons for the first time and orgianlly I was mad when she was a random move in, but after a day or so, I fell in love with her unique design and my love for Ancient Egyptian culture.
5. Sherb - Was my new favorite villager added into New Horizons, and as soon as the game came out, I knew I had to have him. I love his blue colors!
Note: I do have all these villagers in New Horizons to this day!

Cole - the first villager my partner liked. Eventually he moved out of his NL town without warning, and my partner has been salty ever since. It makes me laugh. I have Cole on my NH island because of our connection to him. Every time my partner visits, he makes sarcastic comments about Cole and it always makes me laugh. He held such a grudge. I find it so adorable. And I really like the lazy villager dialogue. They're precious. I really like his beachy interior too.
Tangy - my first favourite villager. I love her design. I love citrus fruit. I love giving her oranges as gifts and how she says "I'm going to eat this so fast it's going to be RUDE" lmao girl you're eating yourself hfdusfhudsifds
Sherb - little blue boi, he's just so cute and again, the lazy villager dialogue is adorable. He's always talking about bugs and toys and food. I love his design and the way so many different clothes look good on him. I like his house exterior and interior as well.
Marshal - his angry little face and side eye. He's so small and I like the smug villager dialogue second best to the lazy dialogue. I like his simple design and the fact that no matter what clothing I give him, it won't clash with his design. I had Ankha recently and NOTHING looked good on her because of her bold colours.

Rodney is 100% my fave, and I'm honestly not entirely sure why but I had him quite a lot in NL and now he's my sole dreamie that's never leaving. I think part of the reason I love him so much is because he gets a lot of hate that I just genuinely don't understand. I'm also a big fan of the 'cute' villagers like Maple and Olive - there's something so cosy about them! And I also love Beau and Erik. I like quite a few villagers, hence why I don't have any set 'dreamies' any more

1. Molly- she's an adorable duck and I've been searching for her for 2 months and when I finally got her on the campsite I was so happy!
2. Marina- she's a cute pink Octopus and when I put a bow on her she looks even more adorable.
3. Fang- He's the only Cranky villager I've seen that lets to keep his home clean and I like his style.
4. Raymond- I know he's overrated but I like he's the only villager that wears glasses like I do in real life so I relate to him pretty well
5. Judy- She reminds me of a character from an anime show that I kinda forget but her eyes are really unique
6. Cherry- She's the only dog that stood out to me and I like her color style.
7. Bluebear- She has my favorite color and I like her cute blue furniture!

I have lots but at the moment Rasher would have to be my fave. His facial expressions are great and just loved his more rough and ready design. I know to a lot of people he's ugly and while he's not really cute I think he's got a unique charm. Purrl, Cyrano, Pietro, and Sprinkle are some of my other favourites.
I have so many villagers that I just adore. I think my villagers are mostly all of my dreamies now, more or less. But of course, here are my favourites, and some that couldn't make it in because of repeating types.
Raymond: I had no idea what the hype was behind Raymond, and I understand the dislike/disdain towards him because of how things has escalated around the need to have him - but really, I just think he's cute, with his little pouty mouth, his mismatched eyes and flop of blond on his head. And the way he goes on in his smug dialogue, it just suits him entirely. Plus, he's just a cute little office worker who's trying to get away from it all.
Diana: I honestly got her into my island by pure chance, and somehow, I completely fell in love with her. She really is something that screams 'elegant' to me. Everything about her, from her design, to her clothes, and even her house just feels so carefully made to be graceful and pristine. She really has every right to be a 'snooty' villager, considering how prim and proper she comes off.
Dom: He's so funny. He's a jock, but he's also a sheep, with a fluffy body and skinny limbs. He talks about muscles but looks like he's two seconds from crying every time he crafts something, and looks absolutely miserable when he's sick. What would I do without him? He's just so emotive and cute. He looks like he's trying his best all the time. Even his house is hilarious? The music? And the backyard lawn mishap going on?
Rosie: My little darling Rosie, who's followed me since New Leaf. I just adore her. Something about her cutesy design, to her personality, to the way she looks overall makes me want to talk to her for hours. She's got a bit of mischief on her face, and a whole ton of energy. Like a personal cheerleader (which I know is the point of peppy personalities), but I just adore the way she does things.
Dobie: An old man whom I adore. Dobie always talks about my friends who visit the island, and always talks about forgetting if he has a stove, and there's something so endearing about him and the wrinkles on his face. I also like the way his eyes are designed when they open every once in a while. Maybe it's because he reminds me of grandparents, much more so than any other cranky villager.
Honourable mentions: Maple, Molly, Pekoe - why are Normal villagers so heckin' cute with their blush? It's adorable. Julian and his celestial home - which I find is absolutely stunning from design aspects. Kiki, Punchy, Bob - I love my cats so much. My favourites are all 'aesthetically pleasing' and maybe that's a lot of reason I face backlash from some people but really, I just love them so much.
