Hey everyone! I was wondering what the favorite Zelda game of you all are.

Mine is Twilight Princess because the story really lets me think and i still think it is really interesting, never before i felt the darkness luring more than in this game. Also, i like the graphic style more and most of the characters. I hated the NPC and character designs (Exept for Zelda, Link and all the Twili) at first but it eventually grew on me. Oh the overworld is HUGE which is really cool in my opinion and you can easily warp around it which makes it even better! I even loved the combat!

This was the only Zelda game which i wanted to complete, story-wise and collectable-wise. I really did everything! I literally never completed a Zelda game before while having played a lot of them. I think that says enough about Twilight Princess being the best for me hahah!

I would have to say either Twilight Princess or the OoT Master Quest. I love Twilight Princess for the visuals, gameplay, the world map, and the whole Twilight Realm with Midna (one of my favorite characters). I wasn't super crazy about using the wii mote to play, but once I switched over to a Gamecube controller, it was awesome. I love the Master Quest because OoT was a great game with a lot of replay value (for me at least), so it was fun to make it more challenging.

How can you ask about just one :(
I'll just do multiple favorites: twilight princess, skyward sword, and wind waker

This shows how old I am, but my absolute favourite is Link to the Past. Second favourite is Link Between Worlds. Since I played Zelda games before any of the 3D ones, they just don't have the same Zelda feel to me. That being said OOT came out when I was about 7 and I liked it a lot back then.

Skyward Sword had a great story but bad controls imo.
I liked Link Between Worlds, Wind Waker and Oracle of Ages. does hyrule warriors count too

I'd go with TP. I like the graphic style the best too and the characters are somewhat interesting. Having 10 dungeons is good too. Swinging the Wii-mote to swing the sword is not the greatest, but it isn't as bad as Skyward Sword and I really like the point and shoot mechanics for the bow and clawshot. OoT was a great game for it's time, but I don't think it is as good overall as TP (and you don't have to hear "HEY! LISTEN!" a thousand times in TP). LttP is fun to, but it is a short game because it is on the SNES. I never got into Majora's Mask because of the three day cycle and Skyward Sword was a disappointment for me compared to TP. A Link Between Worlds is okay, but I don't think there is anything really special about it. I like Phantom Hourglass because of it being played entirely with the touch screen, but island hopping is extremely boring in that game. For some reason, I have never played WW.

1. WIND WAKERRRRRRRR!
2. Skyward Sword (The controls are great. ;_;)
3 and 4. Tie between Minish Cap and Twilight Princess
5. Hyrule Warriors. I've played it more than any other Zelda game (except maybe Wind Waker if you combine the GameCube and Wii U versions.)

a link to the past! it was my first zelda and after playing many other zeldas it's the one I always get back to~
it's a masterpiece <3

Twilight Princess. I only played it for the first time at the end of last year (late to the party, I know) but I pretty much instantly fell in love with it. I liked the designs of everything, the wolf thing was neat, there were some really cool moments and Midna is bae. She became one of my favorite characters entirely (not just Zelda games).
Motion controls were unnecessary for it, though I guess they were nice for aiming. Visually it's also aged horribly and looked like ass playing on my Wii U. It didn't really matter though since I enjoyed the game.

Wind Waker is my second favorite and has been since it was released. I really don't think I can say anything about it without being nostalgia goggles...Though it has a sailboat and that's instantly awesome.

I thought the controls were fine. Never had the issues a lot of people had. Majora's Mask is my favourite.

Majora's Mask, OOT, Link's Awakening, and Skyward Sword are my favorites.

I like all the games but Zelda 2 and spinoffs though.

I can see why, I just thought that the Wii Motion Plus was sometimes too responsive to me and that screwed me over sometimes.

Twilight Princess is forever my favorite. It was the first zelda game I ever played, and is really enjoyed the storyline, it was great.

Link's Awakening. I like how colorful it is compared to other games in the series. A Link to the Past is a close second.

Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game, and my favorite video game overall. I also really like Zelda 2 and Oracle of Ages.

Sometimes I'd end up swinging the sword around accidentally with the Wii Motion Plus. I also had to re-calibrate the Wii-mote a lot. I also don't like how they made most enemies slowly meander toward Link to accommodate the direction swinging. Aiming was also a pain if the Wii-mote wasn't kept perfectly level from the start. There are a lot of problems with the SS motion controls compared to the TP controls (in TP, the only difference between the Wii and GC versions is that shaking the Wii-mote takes the place of pressing B to swing the sword and you point at the screen to aim instead of using the control stick; in SS the angle of the Wii-mote is very important which adds an extra level of frustration).

Twilight Princess definitely, had to beat it more than once. Ocarina of Time is a close second because it was the first one I played when I was little (~6 years old)...I didn't finish it back then, but I have now ofc :p
