Yeah I believe poptarts are mainly very popular in America. While I myself live in the UK and still manage to get them pretty easily, they're not too popular here, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're not really readily available where you are. If you wanted to try them though, you can always check Amazon for them, as they usually have a decent amount on there (although they are quite a bit more expensive on there :/).
Confetti Cupcake, of the few I've tried. But they don't sell them near me anymore apart from basic chocolate and strawberry. Unfortunately I can't justify the crazy prices most places ask for the actually interesting flavours!
Hahah, as you said, I think it's an American thing. So you're not the only one who haven't had one before. I went to USA a couple years ago and I HAD to try one just because I can't get it anywhere else and it was everywhere on the internet and looked so fancy. I tried the one with white frosting and strawberry inside. Didn't go well with me, but since it's the only one I've had I will have to say it's my fave hahaha
I haven't seen a single other comment here talk about it, but my favorite pop-tart flavor of all time is the chocolate chip cookie dough one! I rarely see them at stores, I usually have to go to walmart for them, but man they're just so good!
Now I kinda want to go to the store and get a box lol
I was at 7-11 the other day and these caught my eye.......pretzel Pop Tarts with chocolate filling.Possibly the best Pop Tart I've tried.Generally, most Pop Tarts seem to be a tad too sweet but these tone down the sweetness and add a bit of saltiness and it actually works.
hot fudge sundae. it doesnt even taste like a hot fudge sundae. its just sugary, mildly coco-y goodness. and with sprinkles!!
i understand the other flavors, theyre classics. but hot fudge sundae just speaks to me
Poptarts seem so American and hyperreal that they almost seem fake to me, a clueless european who only knows them from references in media and online. Apparently they do sell them in some stores here to, so I might have to buy... one? a pack? I don't even know - and report back one day, just for the experience haha. Although they don't seem very appetizing to me if I'm honest.
Do you all actually pop them in a toaster to eat or do you eat them cold? My friends from the us were debating this, I had no idea they were even edible cold.
My favorite flavor is cookies and creme, but if cookies and creme isn't available then I would take the smores flavor! And also I prefer to eat my pop tarts frozen
