i love each season in it's own way as it comes, but i think autumn would be my favourite because i could see myself staying in it for the longest. winter, for example, is so pretty with the snow and the lights and everything, but by the end of the season i'm sick of the blank white and lose all motivation to terraform since everything looks the same. spring and summer are both beautiful and i almost went for summer being my favourite, but autumn is just so cosy and i love the way everything looks!

people who’s favorite season is winter exist????
To be fair, back in Wild World winter was my favourite month because I loved looking for the snowballs to make snow people and inevitably failing! plus the cedar trees had Christmas lights on them :)
But in New Horizons autumn looks beautiful now we can fully decorate outside.

I don’t hate winter but in my opinion it gets super boring after Christmas

Actually, the first 10 days (or 9 days?) of December aren't bad. They are the best days of winter. Sadly it's a very small number of days.

Spring, because I love the cherry blossoms. (I’ve only been there through time travel.)

Summer and spring have the best scenery for me. It’s suitable for a tropical island. I think it depends on what your island’s overall theme is. On some islands, winter does look good. I time travel to keep my island in the summer months though, because that is the time of year where it looks best to me.

Definitely Autumn, alaways has been! Too bad it only lasts for like one week in this game. ;A;

For me it goes Summer >>> Spring >>> Winter >>> Fall, though I'm starting a farm island on my second switch and I plan to keep it in fall for the most part, so I might start liking fall more!

Autumn is my favorite season in real life so it seems only natural that I like it the most in game as well! I love the change in colors and although I am actually not a huge fan of Halloween in person I think it's pretty cute in game. I also love the DIY furniture throughout fall. Second favorite would be spring!

Autumn for me. I began crafting Halloween/autumn seasonal items before August was even over. Patiently waiting for that grass to turn the best color.

Living in a tropical country, we don't really experience the four seasons. But autumn has always been my favorite because of the colors, the visuals, the holidays, and it's the spookiest time of the year.

Also, as a videogame fan, most of the anticipated games are often released at this time. There's also the massive sales and discounts happening this season.

I am so excited for fall!! It's my favourite season in game, I think. I do love all the colours that come out in spring and summer (specifically cherry blossom season in the spring), plus there's more bugs to catch which makes my island look more alive but I love fall. I know some people have complained about the colour palette chosen (and okay, maybe I would prefer more warmer colours lol) but as a whole I love it. I love decorating my town for fall, I love wearing fall outfits, and I love celebrating Halloween!! I think the Thanksgiving celebration might have also been fun last year? I can't really remember, but I know that I loved the Halloween event so I'm excited for that again.

I think that winter would be a lot better if it wasn't so long. Which is true of regular winter in real life, too lol. I'm Canadian so I totally get being sick of winter when it drags on even though I personally don't mind that. But with New Horizons in particular I feel like winter is the most bland season. In fall we have the acorns and pinecones we find in September, then the pumpkin patches and Halloween for October, mushrooms and turkey day for November - there's a lot more going on. For winter we have the Christmas bulbs in December (but not until the latter half of December) and the snowmen and... that's it. The holidays are both within the same week (Toy Day and New years). Plus there's not many bugs to see so the island feels a lot quieter which is okay for December and January when we have some festivities but when we get to March it's like 😴
