I dont even have room for the able sisters let alone three more villagers.. [I only have three] I cant possibly imagine having to have TEN VILLAGERS ?!?!?! I'm already planning to reset. & I cannot believe I cant even do bunny day without wifi... so I'm just wondering what else am I gonna have to build?!?!?!

As far as I know, the only buildings you haven't completed are the campsite and the remaining villager plots. I'm shocked that you're feeling cramped, though. Have you built a bridge to access other parts of the island?

I have but I have plans for the island I want it to be super chill not a lot of commotion I feel like I'm definetely lacking in space!!!!

I feel this way too. There's so little space, I kinda miss the little building specific areas we had in CF and NL

I felt like this at first, trust me, but it opens up very quickly and you start working out a lot of places to put things.
Granted I still felt quite restricted until I finally got terraforming, and by that point I already had like 8 townsfolk moved in and I had already gotten used to my towns layout.

I actually feel less restricted so far compared to NL. Let's assume 1 player character and a full 10 villagers with all buildings.

NL - 1 player house, 10 villagers, Town Hall, Campsite, Cafe, Police Station, Re-Tail
NH - 1 player house, 10 villagers, Resident Services, Campsite, Museum, Nook store, Able Sisters

That's the same amount of buildings in the main town area (I don't think airport counts since it doesn't get in the way) but NH lets you choose where most of themm go, move them AND has more space.

I personally felt cramped too tbh... I unlocked terraforming and I'm working on making more space for myself so I feel less cramped c: You're supposed to feel condensed at the beginning of the game but luckily you can move buildings and alter the terrain in the future!

I don't feel cramped at all... I wish I could have more animal villagers!! I'll create more players for more houses for sure! I mean, I was planning to do that anyway but I really need to do that to even fill out my island!

But I can understand that different people want different kinds of islands.

I can understand the feeling of being cramped, but try to remember there's nothing wrong with putting buildings on the 2nd or 3rd level of your island! I moved my museum and 3 of the houses to the second level in a little neighborhood up there and then placed the campsite on the 3rd level because I thought it'd look nice, and it helped a lot. Once you unlock terraforming you'll be able to slim the 2nd and 3rd level down and create more space on the flat ground if you like as well.

What helped for me was chopping down a lot of trees or moving trees into the back parts of my island. You’d be surprised with how much space they take up. People have commented that they feel like my island is bigger than theirs because of the open space.

That's weird, I don't feel cramped at all! In fact I really really want them to release one or two more buildings.. would love Brewster's cafe and either the fortune teller or dream suite.

I am really hating the tree limit though.

Theres a tree limit?! I agree I am now super bummed to find out that there is no cafe.... I LOVED THE CAFE and the fortune teller and dream suit were nice too... jeez... I liked the town aspect in nl better than having to put it all on the island

There's a chance they might add the cafe/fortune teller/dream suite in future updates, I think.. I really hope so.

And yeah, to get a 5 star rating you can't have more than 220 trees I believe. I am way over 220 trees and it is bull****

I feel a bit cramped as well but I think it's because I'm bad at deciding where things should go! Going on top of the cliffs reminds me that I have much more space than it seems.
I actually do hope that we get more buildings but I hope if / when we do that it doesn't ruin the flow of things! That would be too bad.

Once i unlocked transforming and flattened out my island a bit it feels way bigger, i still wish we had a bigger map, bigger house, more villagers ect :( a girl can dream

even more so since we are on the switch now...a home console..gamecube had like 15 villagers and a huge house sksksks

Wait, did you get the 1.1.3 update and even then, you don't have access to the bunny day balloons when playing with no internet connection????
