Maybe bring some Japanese festivals? Its a shame during Tsukimi, Tanabata and Setsubun and we NA people can't celebrate it. Maybe bring back Cherry Blossom picnics like back in the Gamecube?

In a way we do celebrate tsukimi, but instead of getting dango, we get wheat bundles, but I get what you mean.

Yeah, its a bit weird about that. It seems like Europe (veggie basket), Korea (songpyeon) and Japan (dango) is a bit better to a wheat bundle according to many people. Honestly, I kinda saw a few people saying Snow Day? I think its a Gamecube AC holiday.

Looked that up and it is a Short GC event that happens on December 1st about how it’s getting colder and that you only get a snowman statue from tortimer, which has been repurposed as an award from snow boy

Oh yeah, I remember. In New Leaf, the snowman is a gift from the Snowboy. People wanted a snowman from Snow Day back. I guess they don't want to build many Snowboys.
