It's time for Label's Festive Fashion checks! She's standing outside town hall with her clip board in freezing temperatures, ready to do some research on the snazziest winter looks! Don't let her down! Seriously, don't ignore her this time. She's handing out snowflakes.
How to ParticipateThere will be a total of two (2) festive fashion prompts that will be posted in this thread following the prompt schedule below. There will be one designing challenge and one general outfit challenge. Using in-game clothing items and/or your own custom designs, you must come up with a befitting outfit that matches the current prompt!
Rules - Animal Crossing: New Horizons entries only.
- You must post both your photo and the list of items used. If you are participating in Prompt #1 you must also submit a screenshot of your custom design and username.
- Your custom design for Prompt #1 must comply with our Rules & Guidelines. Make sure you do not create offensive or explicit content.
- All photos must be your own character (it does not have to be your island rep and can be an alt if you wish - only the outfit will be considered).
- Do not edit or crop your photos (i.e. no in-game filters or other modifications)
- Please take all photos while in your dressing room screen.
- Do not edit your entry once it has been posted.
Prompts & Schedule Prompt #1: A Festive Sweater! ☃
Start: December 14
End: December 19, 11:59 pm EST
- Make an outfit based around a sweater you design in the Pro Designs app. This is a designing challenge, so it must be your own creation. The design should be your own idea, but you can take inspiration from other designs as long as it is not copied pixel for pixel. Think classic winter-themed sweaters and everyone's favorite ugly Christmas sweater!
- For this prompt, along with your photo and list of items, you must also provide a screenshot of your custom design with your username displayed. Below is an example of an acceptable entry:
Aran-knit cap, down pants, doctor's mask, layered socks, moccasin boots
Prompt #2: Story Time! ☃
Start: December 20
End: December 24
- Make an outfit based around a Christmas or Winter-themed storybook or movie character.
- These could be characters from classic stories and pop culture or even actors that have played specific characters in movies. Characters from games are also acceptable. Please do not base them off your own characters/OCs. You may put your own personal twist to it but the overall outfit should be recognisable/or a reference to a pre-existing character in some way.
- The photo must be your own and should not be edited in any way.
- Please take the photo in your dressing room screen and list all the items you have used. You must also mention who/what you are referencing.
- You may use custom designs if you wish but you do not have to.
- If you are unsure that your idea would be acceptable, please DM me first before posting.
How to SubmitTo submit your entry, please post the required photo(s) and list in this thread. Entries for Prompt #1 must be submitted by December 19th at 11:59 pm EST. Late entries will not be accepted.

I would allow it as I would count it as part of a sweater design. I would draw the line if someone were to design a jacket that covers the whole sweater template, as that’s more about the jacket now.
