Finding a Specific Post?

Is there someway to do it without shoveling through pages and pages of stuff?

I am trying to track down a certain post someone made in a thread with thousands of pages... so I am hoping there is some magic way to track down that certain thing, I know you can search for terms and quotes which I did, it brought up the thread but on it's current page...

If you know which thread it is:

In the thread click Search Thread > Advanced Search then enter their username.
