So I know there's not really that many FS3D users out there due to the massive delay of the software + the fact that the process of actually getting the game is so tedious, but hopefully I can reach at least one user for any tips they may have. I've watched a lot of Japanese flipnotes made with the software (there are tons more Japanese flipnotes than eastern ones because Japan got the software years earlier) and I've noticed their insane attention to detail and their almost heart-stopping use of tones in their work. How on earth do they get their backgrounds to look like this? (example below)

Any general tips/tricks you have + websites or guides for FS3D would also be extremely helpful!! I'm trying my best to make good animations, but my main problem right now is that the animations I make usually look really stiff. Plus I never color them because I use the advanced tools and you can only use 2 colors per layer ;;
I've been practicing quite a lot though, and very slowly, I'm improving! I like to put my focus towards the quality of the art, and not so much the smooth animation so that's probably why the finished work doesn't look good haha oops,,

Woah, cool to see someone else using Flipnote. I don;t use it to much now that I have a graphics tablet, but I'll still watch videos and make one occasionally (I'll link one I've made. It's pretty stiff but eh)
How they came to make that background you posted , I have no idea. I would just recommend practicing. Also, what I do is transfer the Flipnote to my computer, and do most of the editing there. Also, watching animation tutorials on Youtube, not limited to flipnote, would be helpful. There's a lot about fluidity and motion and such. Good luck, and thanks for keeping FS3D alive!

I have no tips for you as I'm a pretty bad drawer myself but I enjoyed the program a lot on the DSi. I'd like to express how sad it is however that they canned the online service for the western release, even after people waited literal years for it.
