I've been searching for an answer to this question for a while now and haven't found a complete answer, so I shall ask here. <3

We all know you need to water your flowers everyday/every other day until they're fully grown or they die. But what about when they're fully grown? Do you need to water them everyday still? I wanted to make huge flower patches but I'm afraid I'll have to water them every day even when they're fully grown. I know in New Leaf they still died unless you had the Flower ordinance on, is it the same in New Horizons? I appreciate the answers/suggestions, Cheers! <3

Flowers don't wilt in New Horizons. You don't even need to water them! You only want to water them if you want to crossbreed them for hybrids.

Flowers buds you pick off become accessories/furniture/DIY material. You have to use a shovel to dig one up to acquire a flower you can replant.

You have to shovel flowers to be able to replant them (without as shovel, even). Picking the flowers will leave the stems in the ground

Any pattern is good enough, but I imagine the ones we used in NL will be just as effective in NH.

Well, its still beneficial to water them every day since there's a Nook Miles task related to it and you eventually need to water A LOT of them.

You can even run through flowers without fear of the flower being destroyed! Only the bud is destroyed, and it grows back in a couple days.
