follow up questions re TBT 3.0

hello i've been away for many moons, and after test-driving TBT 3.0 i've some questions that don't appear to have been answered yet from the search results i ran...
i was wondering please if any of the admins should stroll by, if they would happen to have any info they would perhaps be willing to share on these items?

--of utmost importance! will the gyroid emojis be making a return?? they're my alltime favorite set of emojis
i'm talkin these guys (and their friend with rolly eyes):

--also, in TBT 2.0, our profile pages had a pictures section (or gallery section, i forget what it was called). i had a bunch of mayor art made by fellow site members stored there, but looks like that didn't port over to TBT 3.0. are those folders still accessible somehow?

--finally, i was just wondering if all the site's hardwrking former staff were still getting a Sage designation of some kind, so that we can recognize and treat them with the deference they deserve?

I know I'm not a staff member or admin, but I can try to answer a few of your questions.

1. The gryoid emojis have not returned to TBT 3.0 and I don't know if they will be as we have not heard anything about them returning.
2. This would be a question for the staff.
3. The Sage rank was removed as it confused members on who was the current staff and who wasn't.

Since there is no dislike button on here I'm going to say it: The gyroids look like they were designed for msn, back in the 90s. Please don't bring them back without making them fit the style of the other emojis by at the very least making them a higher resolution.

These specific Gyroids won't be coming back, but it doesn't mean we won't have something like them in the future. These were actually our second set. Hopefully Nintendo brings Gyroids back first.

Not by users, but if you make a Contact the Staff thread we can probably retrieve the images for you.

Yes. We won't be bringing back the green colored named, but it will be signified in some other way. Unfortunately this is something that has been delayed a bit, which is why it still doesn't exist.
