Unfortunately, almost no one seems online atm so I can't ask about RV items but I can let you know if I think of one (and its still a good time for you). It seems I actually got all the Bitty items I wanted last time too.

I have all those items laid out by the train station for you to catalog now. My gate is open, so you can come over any time. I have Happy Home Designer and the special giant items because of it, but I was wondering: if a friend picks up one of these items, then drops it, will they still be able to order it from the catalog?

oh that's awesome! It's funny, for whatever reason I always think of those items last despite them often being so cool. The spinning teacups alone made purchasing HHD a great choice.

Also, though I may still resent Nintendo for certain things, I have to give credit where credit is due.

Reddit was saying that Nintendo apparently was doing maintenance that affected 3DS online, and apparently for a short time ALL online was cut off last night (Thankfully I was asleep - panic attack averted!)

Despite previously saying they could end online services earlier than April if something came up, after going offline, Nintendo opted to bring ALL features back, far as I can tell, and I thank Nintendo from the bottom of my heart for that.

Now if they could just sell older games and bring back Tortimor online...

@leafturnedover You've been extremely helpful! I have no one else I talk to about New Leaf other than whoever posts in this thread, so I had no way to know what was going on with the online service.

And, honestly, the fact that Nintendo has been providing this service for free all this time makes me feel like they have the right to do whatever they want. They could have shut it off without warning, but they gave us plenty of time to prepare instead. New Leaf will still function when they shut the servers down, they can't take that away. My biggest regret about the servers being shut down, other than not being able to help people in New Leaf anymore, is that Splatoon 1 will become basically unplayable; that's my only other major loss. But I also put hundreds of hours into Splatoon and honestly haven't booted it up in a long time, so I was already kind of done with it anyway. ^o^;>

@kiwikenobi yes, I am grateful I got to experience online NL. I guess I can be hard on Nintendo because I only got into (console) gaming in 2021, so I don't have the years of Exp. and wish I could play games I missed.

After experiencing the online AC community, I now look forward to playing Horizons -online fees are fine if they can be comparable to my NL online exp.

Island players complain about NH online not being as good and that there's no Tortimor, but on the bright side, maybe with 3DS/ Wii U online being shut down, Nintendo can focus more on making Switch online (and the next console online even) better.
