After a year of numerous encounters with the alien child the Fringe Division finally discover who she really is. Walter Bishop becomes baffled after she repeatedly says "Nyawh" while tugging on Walter's sleeve and pointing at an object in the lab. A jar that contains some evidence from the latest fringe event and the alien child was trying to point out something that Walter had not yet noticed. He sees this and her actions lead him to realize that her intellectual functions are that of a small child and than documents her curiosity and the new information. Meanwhile Olivia is working a case but hits a dead end. shortly after, Astrid, calls Olivia to relay some new information from Walter which helps Olivia find a lead and tracks down a suspect. At the end of the day Astrid is still puzzled as to why she kept saying "Nyawh" over and over than Walter exclaims that he too is very intrigued by the alien child
