Yes — especially when I see people with beautiful aesthetic islands because they often have these long, winding entrances. My town hall doesn't allow for that because it's right next to the entrance. There's like five spaces between the airport and the entrance.

If I could just move my airport one tile to the right or my resident services one space to the left my town entrance would be perfect. I don't understand why they've forced you to just deal with what you get. Also I wish we could still put custom design tiles over the town center like in new leaf. I also really miss having a tree in town center, Resident services isn't nearly as cute. They should have at least a couple styles to choose from for the building and the bricks surrounding it imo

This was the main reason why I reset my last island. The airport and town center were so close to each other, and I had to reset so I can go for an island that suited me much better in the long run.

When I was picking my island type I purposely chose one where the resident services was right the airport by a few squares so I could make a nice entrance. Cause I knew it would annoy me so much later when I was trying to build my island and make it look pretty. So it doesn't bother me not being able to move the resident services. But I wouldn't mind a feature they had in New Leaf where you could play some bells to change the appearance of the important buildings. I would like to change the look/design of the resident services to match my island more. ( Cause that red brick floor is not a good look)

Yes. I thought my town hall was symmetrically placed at first, but after hours and hours or terraforming I found it was slightly off. I wish I could move it over just a bit! Or even have it a little farther from the airport.

This is all I'm asking if Nintendo were to change their minds and update this game again with new content and features:
1. Bulk Crating/Bulk Buying (seriously that is the most requested and they ignored it)
2. Nook Shop Upgrades
3. A Mini Game Island that you can go to with your friends by talking to Orville
4. More apps added to your Nookphone like being able to call your villagers and to let you control the Airport Gates.
5. Show cracks on your tools if they are about to break (old AC games used to do that with your Axe)
6. Nook Shopping the limit should be increased.
7. Asking villagers if they need any work doing (that was a thing back in the GameCube version)
8. Letting us expand our islands (I've been restarting for so long that I wish our islands were more better to put down more stuff)
9. Letting you work for Brewster
10. Expand the Museum to include the Observatory.
This is all just wishful thinking but if they would've just put more effort into the update then the game would have so much more to do. Don't get me wrong the 2.0 update was great, but I still think if they would've improved on the things that I mentioned then it would be played more longer and extend the longevity. Thats just my opinion.

with how much customization and freedom we have in this game, it really is a shame that the ability to move resident services wasn’t included. i also wish that we could customize building exteriors again like we could in new leaf. i don’t mind the default appearances of rs, the airport, etc, but having different designs to choose from would’ve been cool.
i don’t hate the location of my rs, but i think i’d change it if i could. it’s just a little too close to the airport for my liking, and it’s made trying to design a decent looking island entrance hard.

I'm perfectly content with mine even if it's not perfect- but I can definitely see the appeal to moving it without needing to restart. I would love if that were an option as well as moving things just slightly from their present position without having to put them somewhere completely different. And pls enable multi crafting. At the very least once we craft it once we should be able to multi craft.
