How many people had/have a Sega Genesis?

I remember always playing mine (I don't remember how I got it in the first place) I had three games... Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure, NHL '94, and a golf game, and always rented all of the Sonic games, Road Rash, and Power Rangers, among others. (I think)

It was a while ago. Sadly, I missed out on the SNES, but it was meh compared to the Genesis anyway. (Don't argue about that)

Who else owned one?

I played Sonic 2 at my Grandama's house and she gave it to us eventually for my sister. Emerald Hill Zone music brings back soooo much nostalgia, more than any other song. Compareable to SNES LoZ: Link to the Past Dark World theme.
EDIT: So yes, I've had one.

Wow, I feel the same way about the Emerald Hill Zone song. ALttP Dark World is one of my favorite tunes in a Nintendo game, ever, but it doesn't bring on the nostalgia for me, because my first time hearing it was on the GBA version of the game

:p

@Koehler: You must have been under a rock or something XD

My parents thought I'd be addicted...

:p

My first games were AC and 'Backyard Football' (which got me into football)

Wow, thats almost the exact same story as mine, only it still is at my Grandma's house.

I never owned one, however, Super Nintendo could be the best system of all time. No offense, but Genesis does not come even close to being nearly as good as the Super Nintendo.

Hahaha, both of your stories are similar to mine... except in my case, it was 'uncle' instead of 'grandmother'.

*Argues*

But even though I find the Super Nintendo was superior, I never had a genesis, as you know. I just came over and played yours xD But yes, it was a great system.

*also started gaming at the GCN*

Well, actually, no. My first was a GBC. <3 mah GBC.

And I have an Intellivision... >__>

I still have mine. I played it first at my Grandparent's house, then I found out we had one at home. But I never touched the one at home for some strange reason. D:
