Getting animals to change clothes?

Is there a way to get animals to change into something specific? When they buy clothes they just put them in their house...

It has to fit their tastes (personality wise) and i just keep sending them the same thing until they wear it

i've found that lately if they ask me to trade my shirt for one of their items, they always change into it after. maybe keep the shirt in your pockets?

I was going to ask the same question. I've sent Gwen and Fauna two Flight-Crew Shirts and Fall Leaf Tees respectively, but neither have put it on. I wish they'd realize that it'd probably look good on them, but we'll never know unless they actually try it. -_-

Does anyone know if they'll wear the top half of a dress pattern?

I feel like if there is an open space in their house that they can place the shirt, they won't wear it even if it is their style and their original clothes. They'll end up just placing that **** in the empty spot instead of wearing it.
