Do you let animals lick your face?

It depends on what kind of animal it is, I only let my cat lick my face.

I don't let other animals lick me, I don't know where their tongues have been.

I don’t know if I’ve ever had one of my cats try to lick me? If it was on the side of my face I think I’d be okay cuz I’ll wash it off anyways, and licking on my arms is fine.
But sometimes I see people let dogs like their mouths and that’s a big no from me

I let Spanky lick my face. She is a big kisser lol. I had another cat that liked to lick me, not necessarily my face. I understand why others find it gross but I love my cats and how they show affection to me.

Lucky that my cat, Brandy never has been a face licker. When cleaning himself he will occasionally “groom” me with little soft hand licks which is really cute

Now that Eevee is older since she’s about a year and a half now she’s not as face licky as she was as a pup but I still occasionally let her lick me on the face when we go to bed. When I bring her into the room at night along with my other dog Ellie, she always gets up on the bed and lays down at the end of the bed so after I brush my teeth, I always bend down and love her for a minute before I get in bed she always gives me a couple of face licks which I don’t mind because she’s a sweetheart, even if she is a crazy moose

I guess it depends on the animal. My cats have licked my face plenty of times, and I'm sure dogs have before.

I would not let animals lick my face! I haven’t really had pets in my life, so being uncomfortable around them stems from that.

I don't mind the dogs licking my face if I've initiated it, as I can ensure they only reach my chin.
When roscoe decides he wants a kiss and I'm lying down, he tends to trap me by standing on my hair and fully goes for it. It can be gross when there's no escape.

I've let my cats lick my face, but that's about all I'd say I'm comfortable with, and I nowadays I find that I don't usually like it kskdg. I guess I'm a bit of a germaphobe and feel the need to instantly wash it off after.

Bonk (my cat) has never licked my face nor has she ever tried to, but I don't think I'd stop her if she did (unless she had just licked her bits or thrown up or something.. then her tongue is not allowed anywhere near me). She does lick the hell out of my legs whenever we cuddle for some reason, though. She'll be laying in-between my legs on the recliner part of my chair, and she'll groom me more than herself?? She'll lick my leg for like.. a minute straight if I let her.. sometimes she'll wake up from her sleep and randomly start licking again?? She'll also sometimes lick my hand if I pet her while she's grooming herself, but the leg thing is so... odd... LOL

One of my late cats, Zeva, would often lick my face whenever we cuddled, though. She'd be laying on my chest and she would just.. lean her little head towards me and lick my cheek or my nose. I'd only let her do it for a second since it tickled and her fish breath was Not Pleasant.

my dog doesn't really lick me at all, only if i have a treat or snack in my hand that im feeding him. my cousins dogs and cats, as well as this friendly cat in our neighbourhood lick me and im fine with that as long as its not on my face. they usually just lick my hand and im cool with that as i can wash my hands afterwards anyway. im quite the germaphobe so if they were to lick me on the face id have to bolt to the washroom and wash wash wash!

To put it bluntly, no. I’m actually slightly allergic to dog and cat fur so them being anywhere near my face instantly makes my skin crawl I still love animals though just don’t want their tongues on me

I don't mind licks, but I prefer them not on my face. Especially if the animal isn't mine. If it's somewhere easily washable like my arms or legs, go for it!

Working in vet med, I've seen firsthand the things you can get from animals (thankfully I've been lucky and haven't contracted anything *knock on wood )

my cats don’t really lick me often, aside from the times i’m either giving them treats or letting them taste their wet food as i prepare it for them. one of my cats will sometimes lick my hands or my legs if she’s cuddling with me on my bed though. but they both aren’t really into licking faces, which i don’t mind cause i’ve seen where their tongues have been worst case if they did lick my face, i’d just let them and then go wash my face when they’re done cause life is too short to get upset of them for displaying a sign of affection
