Buck!!!! I grew to love him in new leaf, it seems quite a lot of people don't like him

I remember having Buck as a villager and genuinely loving him with all of my heart when I was younger... He is an all around solid villager and I definitely absolutely agree he needs and deserves an endless amount of love.

I don't get it either! He's a gladiator, that's so cool! I saw him quite a few times on my island travels, never managed to bring him with me because at those times I was looking for you know who... but, yeah! Super cute fella! Deserves more adoration.

I was originally going to suggest Truffles, but realized she probably has a moderately sized fanbase who defends her. She means a lot to me, but I don’t think she’s really ‘forgotten’.

I’ve decided to instead request a GameCube-exclusive villager. The ones that are loved are brought up fairly often, such as Woolio, but the others aren’t as lucky. Nosegay, Flash... I could go on.

Sue E. That’s who I want you to draw. She’s a snooty pig. I’ve never even had her in my GameCube town, but I’ve taken a liking to her.

Also, special mention goes to Penny, who I originally discovered through that “Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing” story long ago.

I could continue talking about forgotten or hated villagers, those who returned(Ava, Louie, Cobb), and those who didn’t(Champ), even those who never left like Truffles, but that would be besides the point of this thread. Good luck drawing all your requests.

Haha this is awesome! If you get to it, you should definitely draw Sprocket. Literally a robot, super cool, but I don't know how popular he is. Another quirk he has is that he likes to sing a lot, at least from my experience lol. Makes sense since his house is filled with electric guitars and other music stuff.

If you want someone cute to draw, I also love Hamlet. He was one of my first villagers. I love his personality being a small hamster, but he still acts all big and tough. He is the man tho.

Okay they are both around mid-tier 5, so not very high, but not the lowest.

This is probably my favorite of the ones I've done so far, Tybalt is a cutie!! Again, the tigers and lions need more love, seriously. I looked through his bio and it said his goals were to be a soccer player so I implemented that here, might do it for more of 'em, gives 'em character ovo

I feel like Velma is rather unpopular? She is talked about but she is often lower on the list of popularity than others so I would love to see her if it is okay! I love her glasses and her house a lot

I'm not sure if he counts, but Kit is a squirrel who made his only appearance in DnMe+ so he's not very well known. I think he's really cute!

If e+ villagers don't count, though, Pecan is one of my all-time favourites! She followed me from an old WW town to become a starter in my first NL town. I don't see her mentioned much and I think she gets overlooked a lot.

My fav is Tom (blue cat) I wasn't even sure if he was in the game because no one talked about him. I have him in my town and I'm super happy he's there. He's been in my town since GC. I love him very much.

I considered creating a rant topic somewhere about how tier lists unfairly place negative perceptions on villagers that are more likable than people bother to consider because so many become all about who has the most popular villagers on their islands or in their towns and never give the rest the light of day but, I decided that it doesn't really do any good to do that and the tier lists aren't really harming me given I don't trade, auctioneer, or spend anything for my villagers around the boards so, instead I've got this to release some of my frustration.

Send me some names of unpopular villagers and I'll draw them as cutely as I can, maybe give them some personality so people can see they're worth loving too.

If you have a favorite, tell me why they're your favorite, I'd love to hear some positive words.

Someone created the villagers so many toss aside, and to those someone's, those villagers and getting to create them probably meant a lot, it was probably a dream for a lot of them, there is probably even reason from their creators that those villagers are still around to this day despite them being bashed on so frequently.

Hot take? I don't know. Maybe I'm just too much of a softie to be okay with any of these animals being unloved x'D

I don’t think Elvis is really popular but i love him!! He’s one of my favorite old men villagers plus I love his king aesthetic and zodiac home in new horizons

I don't think Agnes or Hornsby are in the popular tiers, I adore them both so much, especially Agnes

MAY I JUST SAY- Hornsby is such a cutie, it took everything in me not to take him with me to my island the THREE times I saw him when I was searching through islands, because, oh my gosh, has there possibly been a cuter rhino? I don't think so! How are people sleeping on this I mean look at him! Ughhhh... precious lad.

Agnes seems the type to not worry about anything at all, I really like that about her... she's a cutie and she is definitely more beloved than Bell Tree seems to know just yet, I've seen quite a few people fawn over her! For good reason!

Story time... I have bad teeth.

Okay that was a terrible story, allow me to elaborate. My two main front teeth grew in backwards because my mouth is small, on top of that, they overcrowded my mouth growing that way which in turned caused another one to grow out more than it should have, and long story short... I got made fun of for it a lot growing up, and to this day, still feel a twinge of self-conscious whenever someone fixates their gaze on my mouth (which you can always tell when they do when its something you've always lived with). Even though its something about myself I can't help it sometimes genuinely feels like people think I just didn't take care of my oral hygiene, and still don't, even though I go to the dentist's regularly for cleanings and the only real problem that still remains is I can't afford braces and my family shirked on it when I was younger, leaving me to have to face it alone.

What does this have to do with Moe?

People don't like him because of his buck teeth... and so, he's very dear to me as a character, someone that's relatable in a big way that's not commonly found on any platform. There is nothing wrong with his design, and even more than that, he gets to be a comfort to the few of us who grew up with the same kind of 'imperfection' that he flaunts adorably.

I really, really love Moe.

I can't say enough to how much he means to me.
