Hey guys! (First thread I've made *squels*)
K, back on track I was wondering what kind of towns everyone is going to make! I'm really planning on using the 'Beautiful town' regulation and make my town look super nice with a sort of design fitted to my style.
EX: Lindsey and/or Kohei's towns, Mayor Joshy's town... ect

Or... Are you guys really going to just enjoy the game and leave your town as you find it? EX: No patterns as pathways, not a ton of community projects (still a few though), plant just a few trees/flowers but not a lot of bushes)

Or by any chance is someone making a themed village (like the scary village)? If so, leave your theme down below and your plans :D

I've always tried to make my town all pretty but in WW or CF it's just so hard because flowers die soooo easily and the such heavy grass wear. Also the fact that I suck at making paths xD

I'm thinking of doing a "portal" town.. aperture science etc. ill make the paths look like the tiles in the test chambers etc. well thats what I'm thinking I might do :) but my gingerbread house may not fit into that theme, I really want a gingerbread house lol

I'll be making a nature themed town with a Beautiful Town Ordinance.

My town will be named Syloft (and *****es I copyrighted that name so if anyone takes it i'll see you in court) so I am probably gonna use Japanese/nature items to give it a nice theme.

Idno I wont be themin' for a while tho

@bootie Oooh! How fancy! That's a really original town
Jake, I like that idea, it would be really pretty :3 I hope the Japanese community projects go over seas

Yeah my town is going to be more natural too. Not going to have any modern type town decorations beyond things like the lamp. If I HAVE to do certain things because villagers suggested them, I'll build them and then tear them down later. It's going to have plenty of flowers and trees and bushes. No paths. I can't stand how artificial paths look. I much prefer my town not having set areas to walk through. I'll also have the beautiful town ordinance.

I wont have any of those cheesy faceboard items either. I don't really see the appeal of them.

I personally do not like extremely orderly towns. I like things spread out, not in perfect rows.

As for my town I will definitely be doing pathways with bushes along them, and stretch some kind of blue flowers along my river. Other than that I will keep my town the way it is, unless I think of something else.

Villagers suggestions are how you unlock them, you don't have to build them if they do not suit your plans/tastes.

Thanks Zeda! That's a relief. I was worried that when something was suggested I would be forced to build it before something else could be suggested.

But the cake is a lie.

I'm definitely going to leave my town more natural. The patterns as pathways makes me cringe. I'll implement some community projects though (or public works as they'll be called in North America).

Got to have a cedar forest somewhere in my town. The rest will just be natural, I like making my towns feel like a forest but at the same time orderly with paths going everywhere. The Idea of having a field of flowers with the Japanese shrine in the middle is also good. Kind of like something you'd see in pokemon haha

I always hate patterns on the ground. I don't know why, but it bothers the mess out of me.

I know I'm going for the beautiful town ('cause that's the only one that really seems any good), and I'll DEF get into a garden area with bushes and such. I also plan on some of the super neato community projects. I just can't wait!

I actually really like patterned paths! I've never used ones in my WW and CF town, but with the ease of QR codes, I might find a really nice one and take up the challenge of path-ing my town (I'm pretty sure it's a LOT more work than it looks like!) Other than that, I'm not really sure. I'm sort of torn because I have ideas for little parts of my town to be certain themes, like a luau corner and a pokemon-themed house for a side character... but I feel like if I have all of this random stuff, my town will seem messy! I want everything to tie together, but I also want variety, and those obviously clash :/

You should totally do it with a gingerbread house, it can be a bit like the cake! Do something to insist that it's a lie :D

my village shall have a grand entrance consisting of 5x5 tiles.

I'm going with natural. I really want to give animal tracks a good try this time. I hated them in CF but now it looks like they'll be ok. I like the basic community projects better than the ones too.

I plan on an early bird town. Probably an few pattern pathways, not too many! A few public works, not too many! Don't want to clutter the town up! I haven't decided on a name yet! Something simple though!:)
