I know that when you wear down your grass it's usually from running and avoiding it or walking will allow it to grow back. However, I have some dirt patches that don't get better. I don't remember if they've been around since the beginning since it's almost been a year in my new town, but no grass will grow back in those spots and I avoid them like the plague. I just wanna know if someone else has these grass problems or if I'm somehow doing this to myself xD

It always takes a while for grass to reappear when I demolish a pwp :T or when a villager moves. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I do too!

I just based my paths around them so I can turn them into paths instead of suffering with them. If you can't use them for paths, you can always use them to place PWPs on or even flowers. Something to hide their ugliness.

every town has permanent dirt patches that are there from the very beginning. it's supposed to be more natural that way but it bothers me a lot.

Ah phooey. Too bad I have to doctor it up. Thanks for the replies everyone! >.<

yes unfortunately there are some permament dirt spots in every town ;;

I think it can look pretty good if you cover them up with some bushes, clovers and trees, that's what i do in my towns

Heh. I have the same problem of not knowing which ones might have been there from the beginning!

I've put some bushes or trees or flowers among the ones that look very dark, and am watering them daily. I do hope they'll regrow, but am thinking of putting large pwps there. When you place new pwps, make sure to put some flowers around them and water them for a while. I found that the worst dirt patches occurred from the grass deterioration around pwps spreading.
