In fact this character looks exactly like my counterpart, same hair, same clothes! Just the skin tone is different lol.
Anyway, I hope the tickets are for Harriet as well. I'd rather they not cut all these characters out and replace them with stuff like this. I'd like to know what Pelly and Phyllis will do too, and Kapp'n and Rover.
Rover's not going to be in the game... :/ It was confirmed by IGN/GameSpot/Someone else (who were able to pay 45 min introduction)_. There's a thread on it somewhere in the NH board.

I don't really like MEOW tickets, it looks out of place and like they just threw it in. Oh well. Nook Miles are much more integrated and the colour of it does not ruin your town hall so that's nice.

I'm glad one of the starting hairstyles for the girls is a long hairstyle with bangs, that's exactly how I look right now and I'm even glad it's a bit longer than the last long hairstyle with bangs. So, it's pretty neat. I will have to buy the hair colors option with the Nook Miles though, because none of the starting hair colors is a light brown and I really hope there is a light brown one.

Yeah I feel you; I was pleased to see that one is curly without bangs because that fits my look (even though that particular style is reminiscent of the Founding Fathers xD)
It surprised me that there wasn’t a light/medium brown version since that seems pretty common. Why they included two shades of blonde and grey but not that is a bit of a head scratcher.

Yeah, it is a bit weird for them to not include a light brown one. They had it in New Leaf, so I don't see why they wouldn't have something similar again in this one, but it does seem a lot has change in this game, so lets keep our hopes up for that color.
Good. It's better than waiting at the very least a month for Shampoodle to be available. I love how the hairstyles (and the hair itself) look, it's very stylized to fit the rest of the game and in my opinion both look fantastic, but the standard female hairstyles don't speak to me. I'll like starting of with a long hairstyle, but I can't wait to unlock other choices. I hope it doesn't take too long to earn your first additional choices.

The chick hair is ok, but I haven't seen a decent one for guys at all.
Still wish it wasn't shiny and plastic looking.
They need to fix this.

I noticed that in the direct and it makes me worried that Shampoodle may not return. Although buying the styles and colours with Nook Miles may just unlock them at the salon, which is what I am really hoping for. I don't think a shopping district can be complete without the local salon!

do you think we've seen all the hairstyles the game has to offer? come on dude, at least try to let yourself be positive about something. animal crossing has never been a graphically intense series and the leaps they've made in terms of freedom, customization, and quality of life improvements far outweight what we've seen in any animal crossing game before.

I love that we have so many uses for Nook Miles, not just paying down the mortgage. It'll give the currency a lot of longevity. I know I'm going to want to unlock all the hair.
It's kinda funny to fish, catch bugs, and build furniture so you can get a classy haircut lol

I wonder how long it'll take to unlock them since you get nook miles from simple every day tasks. I don't really like any of the starting hairstyles or colours. And I really hope you'd be able to pay to go to shampoodles and get your hair did since it makes more sense than just changing your whole look out of nowhere.
