i have a question for u guys, how many packs of cards did you buy with the game? just the 1? more? i'm in the uk sadly so i'm going to live through you
I visited 7 or 8 stores and ended up with 19 packs in total. Some shops didn't have the cards at all and some had very limited stock. Most places were limiting purchases to 3 packs per person. After those 19 packs, I still need 33 villagers out of the 100.

Sorry if this has been asked, but are there any cards in Series 1 that are hard to come by?
Hi Graciela: it might take a bit of time for that information to develop, since people are just now only opening their packs and it will likely be a number of days or weeks before there's enough info out there to be able to determine if any specific cards are "rare".

When does the online, home-rating bit unlock?
Hi there: after about 8 or 9 "workdays" of gameplay, including designing the school, Lottie mentioned it to me, though I had already downloaded the update. Without downloading the update, you won't get a prompt from Lottie about it.

When am I gonna be able to redesign something?
Hi Lexxy: did you mean to redesign a villager's home/public building, or did you mean refurbish furniture?
For refurbishing, I got the opportunity to take "courses" from my desk at some point after I designed the school (the first public building). Tom Nook came by to visit the next day and told me about the courses. A series of them gets unlocked for you to choose from, including refurbishing.
If you mean redesigning villagers' homes, you can choose to visit them from your clipboard, and when you speak to them in their home, the option to redesign should show up.
If you mean redesigning public buildings, I believe you can do so through Digby, by talking to him in Nook's Homes. I can't recall if I've received a prompt about this option yet or not, but nor have I tried talking to Digby yet. If I figure out more, I'll post here.

Does cycling days work to get new villagers? Currently trying but I keep getting Ribbot xD
Hi Spontida: It appears we're limited to a smallish pool of villagers to start with, then the pool expands a bit once we start designing public buildings. It might be worth just designing the home of one of the villagers (like Ribbot) to "get rid of" them, so someone new shows up. You could even do the equivalent of a speedrun through their house and do the bare minimum to it so you can get them out of the way (you can always go back later and do a more thorough design).
