There actually are 3 batches of facilities.
The first is the school, hospital and a shop.
The second is the office, department store, and a restaurant.
The third is the hotel and music hall.

Thanks! I had a hunch that there was a hotel, but definitely not a music hall =P (and yep, the second batch has a restaurant)
I went through 10 pages and this seems like it hasn't been asked. I've seen a couple of screencaps from japanese users where the villagers are inside their homes wearing hat items. Do they just randomly wear them or is there a way where I can actually make them wear hat items that comes along with them?
You can customize a villager's clothes when you drag them to one of the icons on the bottom screen. I can't recall if there were hat items though.

Slightly confused at what you're saying, but I think I know what you're talking about. I think that's only when you're in the facilities, but thanks!
Hi Cuddle! I believe you can dress them if you go back to their house and visit after designing; I don't believe you can dress them while you're designing (rather like how you can't change your own clothes while designing).

The amiibo phone should unlock fairly early on in the game. Lottie and Lyle will talk to you one morning when you walk into the office.

I'm not sure if it's possible to expand the office. The most I've seen is 2 rooms only, but if anyone can confirm...?

Pretty sure the only building in New Town you can expand is the School, and that's only once and you have to do it.
who are the mods for this side of the forum? i wanna suggest some of those like.. category things..
like you know how the other forums have like [giveaway][selling][buying]
i wanna suggest like [amiibo] or like atleast [trading]

after you remodel the school, you can talk to digby and and remodel your other buildings. if you've done al the HHA lesson (floor plan) you an pick a bigger/smaller floor plan and rearrange accordingly. i've only done this for the cafe, but im pretty sure it goes for all buildings

Hiya! Not sure which mods are assigned to the HHD forum, but Justin is around quite a lot and he's one of the main fellas. He checks out most if not all threads, but you could PM him your suggestion.

Hi there! The only fully confirmed GC character so far is Louie, who is available as DLC, though it's been suggested that we'll be seeing others in time.
Ribbot is indeed in the game. Villagers show up randomly in your main street, so pretty much every New Leaf villager will make an appearance, but I just ignored Ribbot in-game a few minutes ago to design a house for someone else.
Ribbot is in the game and even better he is an early villager so you won't take long to get him ^^ as for sprocket, they just added Louie via dlc so if he were in the game he would have to be earned that way also

Do the npc characters unlock special furniture that can't be obtained with nomral npc's?
i think so. isabelle comes with a little scooter that was included in the mariokart DLC, but shes the only npc i've done so far

The Special NPCs come with very little furniture, though you do get their pictures. Isabelle unlocks the scooter and Resetti unlocks the Resetti model, but generally speaking, they unlock very little stuff when compared with the normal villagers.

Ah that's good then. Thought you'd only be able to get things like the gorgeous set and other items like that from them
