To redesign a home, you go to your client list book and visit the villager before doing any other designing that day. Then you speak to them and they should give you some options like to redesign their house or to make them a new house.

Starting today, whenever I try to request a custom design from someone online (and it's allowed), whenever I can pick the design I want everything is see-through and I can't click anything. Does anyone know the cause of this?

That's weird...haven't heard of that afore. Only thing that comes to mind is you're out of space? (Though I'm guessing that isn't the case here...) Does it keep happening even when you restart your game?

Anyone else run into this? I'll experiment and see what happens.

Make sure your stereo or music player is facing you (so you can approach it from the front), walk up to it and press 'A'. All the music you've unlocked will be available to choose from. Hope that helps!

Are you talking about when you use Happy Home Network and you try to get a custom design? If so, it's see through because it's a pro design, done by that person which means you cannot take it and display it.

Not sure if you'd need to unlock it, but you'll have to talk to the villager and you'll be given 2 selections:

deluxe / expanding the room or have an extra room
or moving houses, which allows you to change land plot.

Either should allow you to edit the rooms :3

If you haven't tried this yet, visit them at the beginning of the day. If you redesign for a villager, it counts as your work for that day, so you have to talk to them before you take on a client for that day.

Hello! Are you asking about using the amiibo phone in the office, or are you asking about using the cards to summon villagers to your school?

If you're talking about the amiibo phone, Lottie should speak to you about her Uncle Lyle's invention, and the amiibo phone will appear in the office. Once it's there, you can use it at any time to call a villager by scanning a villager card. If you want to design a house for a villager on a card, you have to call them at the beginning of the day.

If you're talking about summoning specific villagers to be in your school, visit the school and you will see an amiibo card icon at the bottom of your touch screen. If you tap it, you can replace villagers in the school with an amiibo card villager. This will work in any public building.

You can also summon villagers to visit another villager's home. Visit a home at any time and tap the amiibo card icon on your touch screen to invite villagers.
