I was trying to ask how to upload it.

When you finish a house it automatically asks you (if you've unlocked the ability). Or, if you want to upload something you've already done, go to your book of projects and click on the computer on the bottom of the screen to upload.

you might want to make sure your game is up to date. the HHN was an update so make sure when your game turns on it says vers 2.0 if not hit update.

On the game's start up screen press ABXY all at the same time. Alternatively, you can go to the main settings menu and erase the data there.

Forgive me for a really dumb question, but is there an undo button or a way to remove an item you placed? I just restarted my game that I just started and was working on Lottie's room; I accidentally placed two lovely beds down when I was trying to figure out how to take out the first one I set down. ><

After the tutorial there should be an option to delete items. Just drag the item to the trash can

I remember reading a topic that showed how the background to the picture of the client changed if you used their amiibo card. I just used Lopez's card while I was visiting Tangy, but his picture didn't change to show that I have the card in game. Any idea if it will change once I remodel it?

no, not yet anyway. but they might come still with future special cards or contests..

Are Louie, the Nintendo items he comes with, and the 1st contest items (the massive cake and the candy house) exclusive to the DLC/contest? I don't have the game yet, so I'm just confirming if I should buy the game really soon so I don't miss out on these things.

The Nintendo items are definitely unlocked by Static as well, so you won't miss out on those. I believe Louie is exclusive DLC and the contest items are also likely limited-time for the contest. Hope that helps!

I know I read it on the forums somewhere (or maybe it was on Jingles's blog), but if I already built someone's house and want to give them more rooms and a bigger room size than they have, do I need to rebuild their house from scratch?

No, everything will be left the same as you designed it.

You can only give them two rooms. The main room will be the same regular size as you start off with designing their homes, as the second room it's quite smaller.

If you gave a villager a house with two rooms, and decide to remake the whole thing/make a new house/whatever the option is called in the english version to get rid of the theme, you can actually give them 3 rooms... Two on the first floor and either a second floor or a basement. And no, you can't adjust the size of the room, which sucks but oh well

I just got the game and so sorry if someone asked this already but can you change the design/color for the furniture from Cyrus or something?

Played the game and wanted to change the design but no clue how lol. ;_;

You have to unlock the ability to recolor items from the handbook.
