I opened my mailbox and saw I had a letter from Isabelle this morning, I’ve been having a bit of a rough time (mentally) lately and it brought a tear to my eye. Like, I know it’s just a game but little things like this are why I appreciate the AC franchise so much. It brightened my day :’ )

Super excited about valentines day, now with my partner for 5 years and couldn't be happier. Married, living in France and doing my thing. Valentines is a wonderful day, a simple reminder to cherish those you hold close whether it be a partner, family, friend or a pet. Go Valentines!

Im so glad you have somebody to share the day with! Happy valentines to you both I’ve been with my bf nearly 2 years now and hopefully we have many more to come
I was working yesterday and saw a man come in buying 2 bouquets, one for his wife and one for his daughter and it melted my heart little gestures like that mean so much!

Oh, lol. Now I'm a little embarrassed because I wrote Valentine's letters to some friends in-game.

I didn't realize villagers would send anything. So now it'll be nice, nice, nice, and psycho pants in the mailbox.

I'm happy to spend the day with my starting villagers and hope to make some headway on the game. I've been married for over 10 years, and while we don't celebrate, it'll be nice to sit in and avoid the ice outside.

I wasn't expecting all these letters! I'm also impressed by the fact that all of the villagers had distinct letters; I have three smugs and every letter was unique. Favoriting all of these. ❤

I’m spending Valentine’s Day with a significant other for the first time. I didn’t know our villagers would send all these letters and gifts until I checked this thread though. I love Lucky’s letter so much.

This took me by surprise. ☺ I was convinced that letters from villagers were not in this version. Plus, I just reset my island, so I thought I wouldn't even be abled to get one.

Also, I don't know if anyone has pointed this out yet, but you can finally receive Valentine's Day gifts from villagers of the same gender. I got a Valentine's Day letter from Diva.

I was very surprised to get the letters from my villagers and Isabelle And also, fyi, if you gift them the chocolate/flowers they’ll react to them like “oh, you got me something for Valentine’s day?”. Very sweet

Oh my goodness this was so sweet! I wasn’t really expecting much to be done for Valentine’s Day, honestly. When I loaded up my game though and saw how many letters I had i was like “???? Did I make a mistake and accidentally time travel or something ???? Why so many letters??” Then I opened them

I was pleasantly surprised that they gave valentine letters out. I'm glad that they didn't sleep on this event. It is kind of weird that Isabelle didn't announce it was V-day during the announcements when she did so during Lunar Night. So I was expecting it to be forgotten. I liked the letters they gave out in NL so that's why I was hoping it would come back, it's cute. I don't think you could gift them chocolate in NL, so that was a nice addition.

Here's hoping they don't forget April Fools this year either!

Yeah after Isabelle didn't mention it in her daily announcement I thought there wasn't going to be anything. But why did I collect all those chocolates from resident services?!? Now with all the ones the villagers sent me too they'll last until Christmas!!!
