Jan 7th : evening

When I went to visit Hamlet he was crafting a doghouse. He offered to share the recipe with me.

Trying out a new hairstyle.

I talked to Sylvia and she asked me if I had introduced myself to our new neighbor. Of course I went over first thing.

She wanted to make the island more welcoming and asked if I could place a streetlight. Sounds like a great idea. I placed it near Doc’s house.

I went over to check out Redd’s boat .

He had a few pieces of art .

I decided to buy the common painting. He said he would only sell one piece of art .

It’s too bad I probably would have bought a second if I could .

The last thing I did was pay off my home loan .

I really need some more storage space. It’s filling up fast with crafting materials.

It will take awhile to pay off that loan. Maybe I will have some luck and do well with my turnips.

Tomorrow we will place and make the furniture for the next housing plot. For now it’s off to bed as I’m getting sleepy. Have a great night.

Jan 8th : 2nd house plot

Mabel is back for another visit. Nook decided to talk about wet suits in his morning announcements.

In the mail I had a letter from the HHA congratulating me on the house expansion. They sent me a automatic washer. Thankful for the gift as I still have limited about of clothes it will be nice to be able to wash them.

I went over to Nook’s Cranny first to see about the turnip price .

When I went back later it was down to 71. Maybe tomorrows price will be better.
I did buy a few things while I was there .
A tool shelf and a barbecue grill. I placed the barbecue grill near Doc’s house.
The message in a bottle had a DIY for a Lily crown.

I bought some new clothes from Mabel.

Today I bought ;
Yellow short sleeve dress shirt
Fringe skirt
Neon leggings
House slippers
Belted dotted dress
butterfly shades

Hamlet taught me a new reaction.

Time to place the next plot . I placed it next door to Sylvia.

Luckily I still have plenty of materials to make the furniture.

I then went over to let Nook know that the house was ready. By the time I wwnt back over it already had a sold sign on it. So excited to find out tomorrow who our new neighbor is .

On my way home Hamlet invited me over to his house . Of course I said yes.

We played a game. It was called the high low game. Hamlet picks a card and you decide if the next card will be higher or lower. I picked lower and was right.

We had a nice visit . Thanks so much for inviting me over. He gave me a K.K slider song .

I decided to go over to R.S for some night aerobics as a nice relaxing stretch before bed might help me sleep.

After aerobics I found the DIY for the shell wand inside a balloon.

I can't wait until I can get into my shop. I'm to the point I just built my bridge today. The shops have been open, but have not found the time to go in the first time yet. Hopefully today.

Yea life can get to busy to do much. I make sure to check the shop when I have time to play. I really want to take time to go fishing and diving but haven’t had much time for it. I’m off today so I should have some time for both. I would love to find pascal for another DIY.

Jan 9th : New neighbor

Good morning, today we welcome a new neighbor to our island. Nook let us know that our neighbor is Anicotti.

I checked my mail and had received a letter from Doc. I had sent him a welcome letter.

I also had a letter from Hamlet thanking me for coming to visit him. He had to send the gift he had in the mail.

His gift was a baby bear . I then went over to welcome our new neighbor.

I hope you enjoy living here. I’m sure you will get used to everyone randomly coming to visit you. I sent her a welcome note with a camper tee in the mail.
Sahara Is here selling rugs and wallpaper.

Today I got
Simple small black rug
White heart rug x 3
Red argyle rug
Bank- vault wall
Floral rush-mat flooring
I had enough Sahara Tickets to get:
Palace wall
Rocky Mountain wall
I haven’t decided what I will do with 3 heart rugs but I really like that rug.

I spent some time diving and fishing this morning. I was able to find a Scallop for Pascal and he gave me a pearl for it.

I think time just goes by fast when your not paying attention to it. The day always goes fast when your having fun.
While I was fishing I found a boot and a can. I came up with a DIY to use for both of them.

The recipes are for a succulent plant and recycled boots.
I also found my Favorite fish the Betta .

Hamlet asked for my sea bass in exchange for 800 bells. Of course I told him yes.

He was very happy with his fish.

Sylvia gave me some advice on fishing.

She doesn’t seem to mind that she is bad at fishing.
Doc was home crafting large cardboard boxes and asked if I wanted the recipe.

It’s been a nice relaxing morning fishing and diving. I found so many fish and sea creatures to donate. I love seeing the museum change as it fills with donations.
I have also been collecting sea shells so I can continue to make new neighbors a shell wreath.
I decided to spend some time in the museum.

I can’t wait to see how else it changes as we donate more creatures.

Jan 9th : evening

I found Doc walking around so went over to say hello. He said he was happy I had stopped by to visit him on his first day here.

He then gave me a log round table as a thank you gift. That’s so nice of you. I’m sure I will find a place for it.

Hamlet asked if I could help him find a drone beetle.

Thanks for wishing me luck I might need it. As I was looking around the island for the drone beetle I saw that wisp was back.

Time to help wisp out and find his spirit, while I was looking for wisps spirit and a drone beetle for Hamlet I found .

I donated both to Blathers . It took a little while but I finally found a drone beetle.

Thanks so much for the ball.
When I found all of wisps spirit I received a dish drying rack .

I was going to place items in my home when I noticed Sylvia deep in thought.

She invited me to her house for a visit .

That’s so nice of you . If you need anything I’m here for you too. We played the high low game and I won.

Aerobics is becoming pretty popular as we had a full class tonight.

It’s great to see so many interesting in aerobics. It’s a great way to relax before bed. We have an exciting day planned for tomorrow. I will be placing and making the furniture for the 3rd and final plot. Can’t wait to see who our new neighbor will be.

Jan 10th : the final plot

Nook said he didn’t have any news today. When I checked my mail I had a letter from Anicotti and Doc .

When I went to visit Sylvia and she was crafting an iron doorplate .

We now have three finished fossils in the museum.

I went and placed the last house plot. I placed it near Anicotti and Sylvia houses for now.

It was pretty easy to craft all the items needed.

I then went over to let Nook know that the house was ready .

Your welcome Nook. I had a lot of fun making the furniture.

As a gift for helping him Nook gave me some fencing.

He gave me 50 pieces of simple fencing. He also let me know that I can buy DIY’s for different types of fencing with Nook Miles. I bought the block fence and bamboo lattice fence DIY’s.
We will have a new neighbor tomorrow.

Gulliver was asleep on the beach.

I placed a futon close by in case he wanted a better place to take a nap.
He needed help again to fix his phone.

He was happy I was able to help him fix his phone.

After I helped Gulliver he decided to join us for our night aerobics class.

We have a big day tomorrow welcoming our new neighbor. Can’t wait to see who it is. Hope everyone has a great night.

Jan 11th : New neighbor and fun surprises

I knew today was going to be an exciting day just because we have a new friend joining us. Today has been even better then I was expecting and it’s only half over.
Nook let us know our new neighbor is Gladys. Leif is also here for the first time. I’m so excited to meet him as he is my favorite gardener. I want to be as good at gardening as he is.

Nook also let us know that R.S would be closed tomorrow because it will be getting an update from a tent to a building. He said to make sure to use the kiosk inside if you need anything.

I went and checked my mail. The first letter was from Luna. She talked about dreams in her letter and sent me this really nice bed.

The next letter was from Doc.

I also got a letter from Sylvia.

The last letter was from Gulliver. He sent me a Kaffiyeh.

I went over to meet our new neighbor. She seems really nice . Welcome Gladys and I hope you love living here.

I sent her a welcome letter and a sea shell wreath in the mail. I will send her a camper tee in the mail tomorrow.
I have been keeping an eye on the turnip prices and today I finally sold them for 157 per turnip. I made a small profit and used it to make a payment on my loan.

Anicotti came over to say Hello .

She then gave me a gift of a sand castle.

I bought some things and a DIY for a lattice fence from the nook kiosk. Then went over to say hello to Leif.

It’s so nice to meet you. I bought some flowers, tomato seeds snd some bushes.

I’m so excited to start working on my farm.
As I was walking around the island I met a new friend named Harvey .

He said he lives on an island close by and invited me to go and visit him.

I will definitely have to go see his island sometime soon. As I was heading off to go diving I found the message in a bottle. It had a DIY for an ironwood dresser. I can’t wait to make one . I have been hoping to find a dresser for awhile and now I can make one.

Now off to go fishing and diving to make some more bells . This way I can buy some more plants from Leif.

Jan 11th : afternoon/ evening

I was walking along the beach when I found a lost bag .

The description said it was well-used a and smelled of sports cream. So that made me think of Hamlet and I was correct.

I’m glad I was able to return it to you . Hamlet gave me a gift as a thank you for returning his bag.

A raincoat will be great if we ever get any rain. We haven’t had any rain since we got here.
Sylvia came over to me and taught me a new reaction.

That’s ok thanks so much for reaching me now.

I found a scallop and Pascal gave me another pearl. Those will be great when I get more DIY’s.

I honestly have no idea what a jort is but I believe you Pascal.
Sylvia was asking Anicotti about if she was happier in the city. According to Sylvia she doesn’t seem like the island type.

I’m not really sure what brought that conversation on but it didn’t seem like Sylvia was convinced.
Sylvia later invited me back over to her house. That’s when I realized she didn’t have a stereo.

We had a nice visit playing the high low game. I was able to win .

When I left I made both Sylvia and Hamlet wooden block stereos and sent them in the mail.
Pascal and Leif joined our night aerobics class.

Thanks to the bells I got from fishing/ diving and from some bells trees I was able to pay off my loan to Nook. Mostly so that I could get more storage space. So much materials on the beach. Hopefully they will now fit in storage. I did buy some more bushes from Leif as well. Hopefully on Saturday I will have time to plant them.

He will be adding the room to the back of the house.

I think he might have added a zero to that total . I wonder if I will do well again if I buy some turnips on Sunday.

Jan 12th : under construction

R.S is now under construction and Nook will be busy for the day . I wonder what it will look like tomorrow. He said it will only take one day to be completed.

He did take some time to come to morning aerobics.

I checked my mail and had received a few letters and the items I bought the day before.
First was from Anicotti congratulations me on my new room.

She sent me a homework set .
The next was from the HHA. They also wanted to congratulate me on my new room.

They sent me a study poster.
I decided to place both items in my new room. I also moved my bed in there. I made a study corner with the news items and some items I got/made yesterday.

Hamlet was crafting this morning . He was making a skateboard wall rack.

Gladys came over to say good morning.
She said she was happy I came over to see her on her first day .

She said she had a gift for me. That is so nice of her.

Thank you so much.
She then complimented me on my outfit.

Why yes yes I am .

I also don’t have much to choose from.
I’m glad Doc is enjoying his swinging bench. He was taking time to enjoy a book.

Jan 13th : Introducing Isabelle and Big dreams :

Today R.S. is back open . Nook introduced us to Isabelle and said she would be helping him. Mabel is also here for a visit.

It is so nice to meet you Isabelle. Nook said that Isabelle will now be giving the morning announcements.

I’m sure you will do a great job.

I checked my mailbox and had a lot of letters today.

I went over to meet Isabelle.

Nook said he needed more help. I wonder what he needs help with.

He explained that I can now add bridges and steps to make getting around the island easier. I at least know where I will place another bridge. We can now move buildings.

Nook then told me about his dream. I can’t wait to help him achieve it.

His dream is to have K.K. Slider visit and perform on the island.

It will take hard work and planning but I’m sure we can make it happen.

Now I want to hold a karaoke night.

Nook also said that he was holding a customization workshop that I will attend later.

Before I left I stopped by the nook stop. Nook said that there was new things to buy. I had about 30,000 nook miles so I bought :

Jan 13th continued: Celeste, a bridge and a shop for Mabel

Blathers sister Celeste is here for a visit.

It’s so nice to meet you.

Celeste gave me a DIY for a star wand.

She mentioned seeing shooting stars but I haven’t seen any. Maybe another day.
Celeste and Mabel joined us for our evening aerobics class.

I found out thanks to Sylvia that Gladys wasn’t feeling well. So I went over to check on her and bring her some medicine.

She gave me a swimming cap as a thank you. Get some rest and I hope you feel better soon.
I went over to see Nook about his customization class. He gave me a DIY for a wardrobe to customize. He also gave me some customization kits.

I can’t wait to try to customize other DIY crafts .
While I was there I got a bridge kit. I found a nice place to put it .

We had the ceremony for R.S.

I found a place close to Nook’s cranny to place the clothing store.

I found Hamlet over by my house . He wanted to know if he could come over for a visit.

We played a game and had a nice visit.

After he left I went out for some diving and night fishing .
I got the DIY for mermaid fencing from Pascal .

While fishing I found an ocean sunfish and some sharks to donate to the museum.

Jan 14th : an exciting job offer

Nook called me first thing this morning. It was even before Isabelle made her morning announcements.

How can I help you?

Of course I’m on my way . As I enter the airport I immediately recognize who nook is talking to . She sent me a letter in the mail with a picture . So excited to finally meet her.

So nice to finally meet you Lottie.

She said she used to work with Nook.

Lottie explained that she opened her own business and is looking for one more person.

They build vacation homes for clients. That sounds like so much fun.

She let me know that Nook recommended me for her last team member. That’s so nice of him.

I would love to help you.

I’m so excited to start. Sounds like I will get to learn all about decorating vacation homes. Hopefully that will help me with decorating the island.

Isabelle let us know that Daisy Mae is here selling turnips. I bought a bit more then last Sunday . Today I bought 500.

The Ables shop will be ready tomorrow.

There was an announcement on the bulletin board about our first bug off . This will be so much fun.

First day of work

I went over to the airport and took a plane to my new job.

It really is exciting. When I got there I met Niko.

Niko showed me where the office was . I hope I didn’t keep them waiting for long.

Lottie introduced me to my new co -workers. It’s so nice to meet you all.

They all seem really nice and I can’t wait to work with them. Lottie let me know that they wear a uniform and that I can change in the break room upstairs.

When I got changed Lottie explained their goal. They want to help their clients find the best vacation home.

Lottie let me know that Niko will be with me if I need any help. It wasn’t long before we got our first client.

Eloise explained that she has been wanting a vacation home and needs some help. She wants it to be a relaxing reading room. Definitely sounds like my kind of vacation.
We got to the home and the items Eloise had requested were already there.

Niko explained about decorating mode and gave a few tips on decorating vacation homes . It was so much fun decorating.

Eloise seemed really happy with her vacation home.

We then went back to the office to see Lottie. Where she explained that we get payed in Poki instead of bells.

I used my Poki to buy a scheffiera and a beach chair with parasol. That really nice chair will have to wait as I didn’t have enough for it. It was an exciting first day and I can’t wait to go back.

Jan 15th : Gladys Birthday

Today is a very special day . It is Gladys Birthday and we can’t wait to celebrate with her. It will be the first of many on Harmony.

I went over to celebrate with her and Sylvia was there. Sylvia had helped her decorate for the big day.

I wouldn’t miss your Birthday for anything.

I hope she likes her Birthday gift . Sylvia thought her gift was boring but I’m sure she loved it. I wasn’t sure what to get her and didn’t have many options so I went with a K.K Slider song I thought she might like.

She really liked her gift .

We had a great time celebrating her Birthday .

Jan 25th : Able Sisters Grand Opening

Today we celebrated the opening of Ables clothing store. It will be run by Mabel and her sister Sable .

I’m sure your shop will be amazing. We are so excited to visit .

I went over to see if they needed anything and to see what kind of clothes they had for sale.

Mabel gave me a tour of her shop.

Thanks so much for the tour of your shop. So excited to see what new items you have each day .
I stopped by to say hi to Sable but she was a bit busy . I did buy some clothes before heading out.

Next was to see Saharah she is back on the island to sell more wallpaper and rugs.

I went diving for a while to try and make some bells to put towards my bridge. I gave Pascal a scallop and he gave me the DIY for a mermaid lamp.

I found some new sea creatures to donate to the museum.
Hamlet was crafting a pear umbrella.

Then it was time for our night aerobics class.
