Has a movie ever made you cry?

The beginning of "Up" as well as "Toy Story 3" still get me to shed a few tears to this day.

I was about to say no one has mentioned "Up" but hey, you did! Up made me so emotional...

I've cried over movies before. A couple of Disney movies have scenes that make me teary - Bambi and Dumbo come to mind.

Love Affair always makes me sniffle at the end. It's cheesy, but what can I say? I cry over The Notebook and I did get a little emotional at the end of The Truman Show the first time I saw it.

Why not Bumbo?

When I read the topic title I immediately thought of "Up" - if I watch it again I tend to skip past the beginning because I just don't feel like getting emotional. The rest of the movie is super cute though.

Omg can't believe I never thought of Dumbo or Bambi but I just remembered another Disney moment that's sad: in Fox and the hound when Widow Tweed abandoned Tod in the forest, it was so sad seeing his hurt confused face while she drove away crying.

When Trusty got hit by a car in Lady and the Tramp, Jock's tormented howl as he sees his friend lying motionless in the street.

Princess and the frog where Ray died, then is funeral, both where very sad.

I've never seen Up but from what I've read about it after googling sad movies, don't think I ever will or Toy Story 3 for that matter.

I'm now lying here in tears as I stupidly decided to search for sad movie moments.

Lots of movies make me cry. The Korean movie Jibeuro (the way home) never fails to make me ugly sob. Actually a lot of Korean movies with old people make me cry because I think about my grandma. Click made me ugly sob lolol. I think I cried in brokeback mountain. I can?t think of a recent movie I?ve cried in though.

I think most movies have made me cry lol. Moonlight, E.T., and Short Term 12 all come to mind. Love, Simon made me cry like six times each time I've seen it. When I was a kid Bridge to Terabithia always made me sob and I'm too afraid to watch it again.

I have never cried because of a movie in my entire life.

And it's funny because I'm really sensitive and cry so easily at things irl but movies just...have no effect on me

Reading all of these posts about Up kind of made me realize something. I don't think a movie can be considered "feel-good" UNLESS something depressing happens. This is because the ending won't feel relieving or satisfying. A movie were nothing really bad happens is just boring, and doesn't really feel like it earns the good-vibes. Just my opinion, though.

^interesting thought!

i haven't super cried at a movie in a while (dw i've cried at plenty of cartoons LOL) but i used to cry a lot during them. going off my post in "What's Your Favorite Movie?" when i first saw terminator 2 it made 9 yr old me cry so hard....
i didn't want arnold to die :'(

I'm not that sensitive but lion king made me cry. Also I was really young so I got them emotions xD

I never cry at any movie like even if there a part that's suppose to be sad, I don't cry and I'm just like whatever.

i'm not an emotional person when it comes to movies and shows but a silent voice made me choke up. certain parts of it just hit too close to home, in a good way

I don't cry when I see movies but Forrest Gump is a very sad movie..it was hard not to cry

When Ralph wrecks Vanellope's car.

Her reaction was like he killed her dog or something.

Oooo, I've heard of that movie, I should probably watch it soon. It looks interesting.

Yeesh, yeah I'll admit to this. I don't think I've ever sobbed at a movie but quite often I can tear up a bit. There have been times when I've been watching movies with friends over Skype and if it ends on a sad/bittersweet note then I'm usually reluctant to talk because I'd probably start actually crying lol. They'll be like "that was great" and all I can muster is just a "MMMHM". I hate getting emotional but sometimes it just happens! It's hard for me to name which movies got me feeling that way off the top of my head, but Your Name and Me Before You were a couple notable ones that I actually remember.

I don't tend to cry at movies actually. I kinda want to, just to know what it's like.
