Has anyone ever shoplifted?

Back in high school and when I was younger I did,I admit haha, but only little things like bracelets or candy or something small like that. Nowadays I am so against shoplifting and stealing! I'm a huge believer in what comes around goes around, and karma. I regret and am sorry for doing those little things that no one will ever know about.

I remember when I was like 10 or something my mom and I went to like this card shop (might've been Halmark but idk) with all kinds of holiday gifts and other nice things. The shelves had these super cool diamond decorations on them. They were in all colors and made from some kinda durable plastic so they looked real and were nice and heavy. They were so cool looking but they were just random decorations, not for sale or anything. I wanted one so bad that I pocketed one when my mom wasn't looking. I felt so satisfied.

I would probably still have it if I didn't carry it with me wherever I went the next few days lmao. My mom got so mad that we went back and returned it. I don't feel guilty though. It was like taking a marble from a huge collection- not worth much and no one will notice if it's gone.

i was 13 and i really needed to eat something surgery because i have a metabolism disfunction so its really really fast. i smuggled a box of cookie dough bites in my jacket because it has secret interior pockets and got away with it. then i proceded to inhale them all when i got home and no one has known ever since.

I was really poor growing up. I shop lifted all the time. I was around 13 when I realized how wrong it was, and finally stopped.

I stole a cool looking eraser from a store when I was 7 because my dad wouldn't get it for me ~ I looked so guilty tho and my dad made me return it and say sorry to the store people.

Other than that I'm all clean

When I was about 15 or 16 in high school I became friends with some new people which were a suuuuper bad influence. I used to take clothes, makeup, accessories, really just anything I wanted. I feel really bad about it now :/

When I was like 4, I tried to steal rhinestone stickers because my mom said no, but as she was paying for other items, she found out that I had it and gave it to the cashier.

When I was probably around 13/14 I went and bought a $20 iTunes card, and this was back when you didn't get the gift card where you scratch the number off the back, the number got printed on the receipt, and the place where I got it from, the S's looked like 5's and vice versa so it was a real pain to put the code in. Anyway, I bought this code and it had about 1023402 S's and 5's on it, and I didn't know at the time they were so similar, so when I got home, I spent forever trying to put the code in, but I kept doing all them as either S's of 5's and not different because I couldn't tell the difference, and it wouldn't work, so I had a tantrum because the code wouldn't work, so my dad took me back to the place to get it swapped, and it was like a 15-20 min drive away, and when we were driving there that was when I looked at and saw the very slight difference between the S's and 5's, and I was like '**** we are basically here I can't say this now' so I didn't say anything and instead I pulled out a piece of paper and wrote the code down.

Then when we got there we tried to get it replaced, but because it's an iTunes card and obv scams etc, the lady behind the counter had to try check it hadn't been activated, but she kept mistaking the S's and 5's like me, and it wouldn't work, so after probably 10 or so minutes she just gave us another voucher and said she would work on it later and not hold us up any longer because there was something wrong with the number. So then I go home and pull out the piece of paper I wrote the code on, putting in the proper S's and 5's and long behold, it activates and I get the $20, and then I also get the $20 from the one I just got replaced.

Not really shoplifting but that's the closest I've ever gotten to it.

Nothig I can remember :) I'm a good guy I pay for what I take in a store!

Nothing major. I probably ate a couple pieces of candy from the glass display containers they have at candy stores without paying for them when I was younger.

I used to shoplift clothes and makeup all the time when I was a teenager and didn't have a job yet. Now I think that was really stupid but apparently it seemed like a good idea at the time. Kids need to start working early to really appreciate money and budgeting to feel less entitled. At least I should have.

Well not really literally taking stuff as you would imagine, but I really loved "tasting" the tea in those shelves where you could pick and mix yourself a bag of it... Note that this was probably back in the 90s or early 00s when I was a wee kid, nowadays people would notice lmao

I purposely shoplifted once when I was younger. There was a cut in a pack of Yu-Gi-Oh cards in the store so I ripped open the rest of it and stuffed them between my waist. I feel bad about it.

I remember I was buying makeup and I went to get a makeup bag to store the makeup I was getting into it. I was putting the makeup that I wanted in the bag since I was purchasing both the bag and the makeup that I was putting into it. When I got to the cash register the lady who was attending me zip up the bag without knowing what was inside, I didn't know she did this since I left the lane real quick to get something else. Once I got home, I check my receipt and everything was so cheap until I realize she just check the bag and not what was inside. So free makeup I guess.

Besides that, I don't shoplift since I have money to buy what I want. I think my mom use to do it but I'm not quite sure since I was young.

I technically didn't in the end because we went back in the store to pay for it, but when I was little I saved up enough money to buy a new video game for my DS and I decided to get My Baby Girl for whatever reason. My mom finished paying for groceries and we forgot I had the game in my hand and just walked out. In the parking lot we remembered I had to pay for the game and went back inside to pay. When we were leaving the buzzer thingy never went off signalling someone stone something, but when we went back inside it did so we could have gotten away with it easily.
