Has anyone ever shoplifted?

I don't think I ever have as a little kid? It's funny to hear all of these stories, lol

One time at Walmart I was with my baby sister and there was a baby toy on the ground and it was pretty worn out and had no tag so we just assumed someone left it there and gave it to her. So we left and came back a few weeks later and saw a huge bucket with the same toy that had little rubber band tags that can easily be removed so we felt pretty bad..

It was totally accidental of course XD

When I was like one or two I stole a plastic zebra from the dollar store. I felt so guilty I never played with it and it's stuck in my storage somewhere

When I was very young I was in a crafting shop and I took a bead in the shape of a cross. Funnily enough, within a few years, the cross actually fell apart, and it was made of metal so I have no idea how it could easily destruct like that, but I guess it could've been a certain someone's way of telling me not to be so stupid.

Haven't done anything like that since.

stole a jacket that's worth about 30$. Cashier forgot to add that in the receipt so we never paid for it. And once I got home I realized it wasn't on the receipt and I was not that good of a person to go back lol

i have a really guilty conscience, so honestly i feel awful just from saying i left my homework at home when i really didnt do it or even if its a tiny white lie i feel awful about it, so i dont think i could ever shoplift, and even if it was accidental id go back and pay for it ;;

I was a bratty little kid and would occasionally steal toys from Walgreens by hiding them under my shirt. I can't believe I did it!! That only went on for a while when I was like 8 or 9. The most recent shop lift I've witnessed was a man shoving snacks down his pants lololol

Stole 2 moshi monsters figures when I was younger (I didn't have either and one was ultra rare so I couldn't just leave them). The pack was already torn open and the figures were out on the shelf, so someone else would've taken them otherwise. I tend to do this still, even now. Most places can't sell it if it is loose, anyway. Never anything big, though.

Also, I remember shopping with my family when we found a plush (Mr men I think), and we just took it since it had no tag and my sister liked mr men. When we left, the alarm went off and we thought we were busted! Turned out a couple exited the same time as us and set off the alarm. Kept the toy, no idea what my sister did with it.

Edit: It was little miss daredevil

I stole a ring on accident once. It was in a pair of $2 gloves that I bought as a gag gift for a friend and I didn't notice until I got home. Oh well.

I've never shoplifted before. I don't think I have the will or desire to shoplift, even if I was given the opportunity or pressured to do so.

Lol, kinda enjoyed reading about all these things. Also yeah to that salty person earlier, I think most of us were either too little to understand or did it by accident, I don't think we'd just go into a store and steal stuff nowadays, or idk :p

But yeah I've seen this old lady here with her hair full of lice obviously walking past the cashiers stealing food and stuff and then when they catch her she plays really dumb lol

my local grocery store used to have these giant containers of loose candy that you could scoop into bags to pay for but when i was small i would take one , like a butterscotch or a sprinkle chocolate

like pick and mix or just.. containers? :0

but yeah i remembering forcing my parents paying for like 1 piece of pick and mix candy every time we went to the store lol

I was an unknowing accomplice to a crime, my brother put some gum in my coat hood. My mom didn't find out until we got home, she didn't pay for it but she gave it to another kid :D

yes a few times, but never alone. I usually did it when someone influenced me. I remember everything I shoplifted too

1. eyeliner from walmart at age 15. my friend stole stuff from there all the time and taught me how to do it. we brought the stolen stuff into the bathroom and threw away the evidence and put the items in our purse

2. a black sweater from a clothing store that I stuffed in my purse when I was 16. I did this with my bff at the time

3. a skull bracelet (lol) from block bluster. they were promoting a movie and had some skull themed items on the check-out counter and me and my bff each stole one and thought we were soo cool. all we did was put the bracelet on our wrist then walked out. no one noticed

4. I used to steal my cousin's beanie babies each time I went over to her house lolol. this isn't technically shoplifting but it is stealing

I still feel badly about doing all of that

One time I took the leaf if a lamb's ear plant, and a week or so later I took the leaf of a succulent to propagate on my own. I'm pretty sure this isn't stealing but I'm still pretty sure it might be illegal. I took the lamb's ear leaf so I could press it and keep it, except I lost it. I also lost the succulent leaf so I can't propagate it anymore.
