The UK have had different bundles and generally more expensive prices for games and amiibo over here. I've seen a US bundle that contains the physical copy of the game, 3 cards and 2 amiibo.
I'm guessing the amiibo will be ?11 each and the cards could cost up to ?5 (?27 total). The game is apparently free to download but there will obviously be a cost for the disc and box. How much do you think the game will be standalone?

I'm hoping the bundle will be available for ?35 - ?40 at some point (I don't need the game at launch what with Zelda Triforce Heroes and Happy Home Designer), do you think this is plausible? I wasn't planning on getting Digby amiibo but I was going to get Isabelle so I wouldn't mind if they were bundled but I hope there are other options too.

I'm assuming if you buy the physical copy it will HAVE to come bundled with an amiibo, else it would be totally pointless in even producing a retail copy of the game, because that would lose Nintendo a lot of money if they just ended up releasing the game for free on the e-shop.

Oh yeah you're right, they require amiibo to use after all don't they?
I do like having physical copies of games and seeing great boxart but if I don't want Digby, then it might just be a lot cheaper to get the download version then.
