Has anyone tried the new catalog app yet on Nooklink?

i haven’t, yet! i honestly don’t really use nooklink for anything other than communication during trades but this looks incredibly helpful and i’m looking forward to trying it out! the filter options look amazing, too! ^;^

It's pretty much the same we got in the game, just with more filter options and a lot slower. If I'm on my phone anyway, the ACNH Life app does a better job at most stuff.

And it's not even accurate enough. Some of the mush furniture variations I made at least three days are missing.

It doesn't update instantly (maybe it's based on the last backed up save?) but the fact that it's automatic is absolutely magical. I for sure can't be bothered to open a third party app, search an item, check if that variation is already in my catalog, and add it if not for every single time a villager runs up to me, or I get things from a balloon, etc. That's a ridiculous amount of extra boring effort just to keep track of stuff...

I love that it's there, and that it has decent filter options. I've used it a few times already.

yeah, i like it for looking what clothes, wallpaper and flooring i have or don't have. it's nice being able to look at my phone instead of looking at the in game phone app

I really love the app on my phone saves me going back and forwards when buying a clothes and stuff as I don’t have the in game app for it yet. I also find it really helpful for when I’m creating an area as I can filter and search for items that fit the area I’m making and the theme. The only thing I wish we can also do is order furniture through the app on our phone but that sort of nullifies the whole point of having it in game. I’m just lazy lol

I'm in love with the filters on it. The size filter in particular will save me so much time. I'm also glad I have an easy way to check if I've bought things when in the Able's dressing room now... it might save me the pile of duplicates I always end up with because my memory is awful.

Yeah I have. It's super helpful and I really like the time and effort they put into the interface. I love the search filters and generally being able to check my catalog without the Switch in my hands.

I've been waiting for this to update. It'll definitely make life easier when going into the dressing room and trying to remember if I have an item already, and if so, what colors. Also for checking on items to gift/trade.

It would be useful to me if I could order things and gifts for friends. As is...not sure.

I really like the app! My friends and I find ourselves asking "does anyone have an xyz cataloged?" when none of us are playing. It's way easier to check on your phone and make a note to send that to a person later. We've already used it several times!

how do you get nooklink?

You get it by downloading the Nintendo app in your phone. The animal crossing = nooklink app will be accessible inside that Nintendo app.
You need to have a nintendo online subscription to have access to it.

I like it for checking if I've already catalogued something or not! It's great that it automatically updates too. I don't like having to update a catalogue myself

Yes it’s very helpful! Because I can’t access to my game whenever I want, sometimes when I browse a trade post I wanted to check if I have someone else’s wishlist items, it can be such a hassle. Now, I can just pull out my phone to check the catalog from my nook link instead! It’s honestly so much more convenient.

I like the filtering option by colour! And the clothing section is useful when I'm buying new clothes I don't have.

I had kind of ignored the color filter, but I realized it would come in handy to see what you have available for villager gifts.
