P: Wow another very serious topic. Hats aren't very nice if you have long hair because static. So much static. I actually prefer not wearing earmuffs either because I like earphones.
I can't find earmuffs that I like the look of and are comfortable. A lot of them hurt my ears after wearing them for even a short amount of time.
Although even if I did find some I like, I don't like my hearing being that muffled so I'd rather just wear a hat. They keep me warmer and I look good in them so.
For fashion purposes, earmuffs. For keeping warm purposes, hats win. If I'm really pushing it, I'll use earmuffs (or lbr, headphones) and have my coat hood up. But I'm in eastern Canada. You need a hat here.
