Have you changed your opinion on any of the new villagers?

Since the game has been out for awhile now and popularity has died down some, has your opinion on any of the new villagers changed for you from when you first saw them to when some time has passed?

For me, I probably either didn't like Megan at first or had no opinion, but I actually really like her now and even want her on my island, but I already have my normal and everyone else filled wah. I also didn't have much of an opinion on Dom, but now I can't stand anything about him. Also, I thought I would really like Audie, but after having her on my island, it turns out I don't lol.

The only new villager that appealed to me at first was Audie.

Now, after seeing most of them in-game, I'd say I like all of them except Megan. I have Sherb on my main island, and he's moving into my second island too - I wasn't looking for him either time. Other than Audie, I'd really like to have Reneigh someday.

I really like Audie's design and still really like it, but when she was on my island briefly all she did was work out, which idk... I didn't love it I guess.

Initially, I don't really think Dom would have appealed to me very much, but actually having him on my island has completely changed that. He's a keeper for me, for sure.

I think all of the new villagers are appealing in their own right.

When the new villagers were revealed, I was the most interested in Sherb and Dom and I still like those two the best. They're going to be permanent residents forever and Dom even made me like jock villagers again.

I liked Audie a lot too and had her for a while, but now I let her move on to new places and I'm neutral. I think Cyd and Reneigh are cool and I'd like to have them someday! I'm pretty neutral on Megan and Judy and don't plan on ever having them since they don't appeal to me.

I liked and still like Raymond, but it's sad that the community sometimes puts a sour taste in my mouth about him. He'll likely be staying forever too.

I really like Reneigh. Initially I did not care for her much, but there's not a lot of great Uchi's imo and ever since I had her on my island I quite liked her actually! Same goes for Dom to a lesser extent for me.

I really liked Audie at first w/ the backstory on the real life Audie inspiring this character, but her default clothing and especially the sunglasses kind of ruin her design for me.

As soon as the new villagers were announced, I decided I would have Judy and Sherb and that's it. However, in my first few weeks of playing New Horizons I had no funds and an empty plot just waiting to be filled. So, I was browsing the New Neighbor Network idly in hopes of maybe catching a giveaway of one of my two dreamies. What I found instead was an Audie giveaway with an interesting premise: unscramble the Dodo code and she's yours! My mind went into hyperdrive and I somehow guessed the right code after only a few tries. Needless to say, I found myself liking Audie way more than I thought I would once she was on my island. I have no intention of ever letting her go!

At first I really liked Cyd and spent NMTs to get him on my island but I kinda got bored of him, idk.. He was constantly singing and it drove me up the wall. I still think his design is really cool and I love when other people have him on their islands and like him but I went for a different theme on my island and he doesn't match it anyways ;w; I know I'm fake, sorry!!

Oh and I used to think Dom was really ugly at first, but he ended up growing on me a lot and now I have him on my island. I think seeing his funny facial expressions and memes really helped lmao I think he's charming. I'm not sure if he's a permanent villager. I might give him to my friend who likes pink but he's okay for now!

I also thought Sherb was kinda boring at first too but I accidentally found him on an island and he's really cute. I think seeing the villagers in game yourself can really change your opinion of them.

i've always liked dom the best of the new villagers & that still holds true, but raymond... yeah i didn't see the appeal at all until he was camping the other day. i like him alright now.

Sherb I was okay with and then ended up disliking because his face is gross to me

Judy I didn’t like but she’s SO cute in game

and Raymond... I didn’t like him when I first saw him at ALL, but he’s growing on me fast

Reneigh was a starter, and I thought she was cool but average. Now I love her!

I found Dom on an island and was going to sell him on the forum, but I fell in love. He's literally my favorite villager because he's so cute and silly looking.

I just got Judy, and I was very excited about it! I actually love her more than I expected, if that's even possible, because she's a music-interest villager so she goes around singing everywhere.

They're all perfect. I'd love to meet Megan and Sherb, too. Not a huge fan of Raymond, Cyd, or Audie, though

I really wanted Audie and Judy since the beginning. I got Audie as my 7th villager and I was SO excited but didn’t vibe with her as I thought I would :/ someone offered to trade Judy for Audie so I let Audie go. I still love Judy, she’s so cute and sings all the time

I was neutral with Raymond, but my bf liked him (he thought accountant cat was funny lol) so we hopped islands to get him. I ended up really liking Raymond so I have him has my only smug now (moved Julian out recently)!

I have Sherb & Reneigh on my 2nd island, and I didn’t really “want” them when I first saw them. I really like Reneigh now, she fits the uchi role so well! Sherb is growing on me, he’s especially cute chilling under a tree with a donut haha

I’m not a big fan of Cyd, something about the eyes just bothers me :/ and I’m neutral on Megan. I really like Dom’s facial expressions but not sure if I like him enough to get him since jocks are my least favorite type ):

I was neutral on Sherb, but after having him for a while I really fell in love with him.

I also liked Raymond as a smug cat with glasses, but seeing him around everywhere gave me a deeper appreciation for him.

Still very neutral on most of them, Megan is the cutest one imo but she’s of course normal and I already have two other normals I want. :/ I thought Judy looked really weird when I saw a picture of her pre-release but when I saw her in the game she actually looks really nice!

I got Sherb. He was my 7th move-in that I encountered on a mystery island that also happened to be a hybrid Island.
I didn't really care much for any of the villagers when they were announced but I immediately fell in love with Sherb when I got to see him first-hand.
He looks so goofy and cute. Definitely a keeper.

I got Audie as my first 5 villagers and I love her ever since. She’s probably staying on my island forever. I dont mind her doing exercise all the time tbh. I just find her cute and cheerful. Today i gave her a crop tee and it showed her round tummy! How cute is that! Sry for my low quality phone pic...

I dont like Judy for her comic eyes. It freaks me out a little bit... And i dont care for the other new villagers.

I don’t think I’ve really changed my mind about any of them, I love Audie and Sherb and got them both without looking for them. I wanted Raymond at first, but since he is so popular I dunno, it kinda seems boring to have him now? If he does appear I’ll probably invite him anyways but I’m not as excited about him. I used to have Megan, but she moved and while I don’t regret it as such, her design did grow on me after a while
