Expecting to hear lots of horror stories. I've had three phones so far and I've only cracked one of them (knock on wood). It was pretty dumb - it just fell out of my pocket and onto the floor when I was walking in my house. It wasn't a very far or hard drop but it caused a crack across the screen - or so I thought. Turns out it was just the screen protector and the actual phone was ok, thank kracko. I only had to pay like $20 to replace it.

I only have one phone, and I never broke it.

It has dropped countless times, but the sturdy I'd say, protective case has prevented that.

Yes, my current phone broke two to three years ago at a party. Only the screen broke though. I accidentally dropped it while dancing and someone had stepped on it. When I came back the screen was cracked. The phone still works to this day though and I see no point in getting a new one as it’s already so advanced. All of the new phones that are released each year aren’t really worth it when comparing price>new features. We tried to get the screen replaced, but because it’s a special edition of the phone, there’s no replacement for it. Still works well though! :)

Never cracked one but I dropped one in the toilet. It didn’t survive

Yesss, multiple phones, lol. I’m a klutz, I guess? Most recently my iPhone XS Max fell out of my pocket, flat onto concrete, cracked the screen. Huge crack running diagonally across the screen. Luckily, it didn’t damage anything internally. It cost ~$300 to fix. ;o; Best part is that I think I’d had it for a month. And I never get the insurance. Whoops!

Lol. This reminds me of my klutzy mother. She can't have a phone without it doing some bizarre things, like black darkness flowing down slowly, or the ringtone sounds weird and only a few people can call her.

She can't have nice things when it comes to phones.

Oh I wouldn't be surprised if I broke somethin internally. Pretty sure I did. I've dropped it face down in puddles and grounds so many times. It hasn't cracked cause it has a reinforced screen, and neither has the glass for the camera. It does have a few small not really noticeable scratches on the screen, but that was from years ago when I key loose change in my purse, floating with my phone.

Never cracked the screen on my Android or broke anythin on my old NOKIA flip. The corner of the android got chipped cause it fell from a stand up point and hit the tile RIGHT on its corner. Kinda wasn't my fault thou, I was handing the phone to someone.

Wait did you name the phone Max or is it really called Max?

Knock on wood, but thankfully I have not. Pretty surprising too considering I've dropped it so many times because I'm a clumsy as heck.

Haha, it’s really called the Max because it’s the larger version. It’s a really long, silly name for a phone. :p

I have, but nothing drastic. Think it was right on the camera lense in the corner of the phone. It was one of my earlier smart phones, so it wasn't a big deal and easy to replace. Also lost a flip phone to steam in the bathroom while taking a shower, like huuuuh ;-;

once i was on a rollercoaster and my phone slipped out of my pocket during the ride ... luckily my iphone somehow managed to survive like nothing had happened. a few months later i dropped my same phone while in class and the screen cracked. :c

I've only had the one phone forever and luckily I've never broken it. I've only dropped it a few times in the house and I have a protective case on it, so it was fine.

2 phones broken
one was because i was mad and threw it to the floor
the other one was pure accident and fell to the floor

luckily my current phone seems to be lasting forever , :)

I've broken two phones, and both happenstances were the result of me getting overly frustrated about something and then acting stupidly. I can't remember if the first one still worked after getting its screen cracked, but the second one did work even with a broken screen. That one had some strange stuff going on with the screen, like differently colored lines going across it, but either way it still worked.

I've been treating my current phone with more care though, and planning to keep it that way. I'm not going to repeat those stupid things again.

If drowning them counts as breaking them, then yes... three times LOL.
I'm good at taking care of them (aka not letting them get cracks), but when it comes to the water I'm just too clumsy. Like, oh boy.

When I was a teen I dropped my moms phone in the toilet once. That was horrible.

After that, I don't think I've ever broken my own phone (or any other phone for that matter) since I'm so careful with it.. *knocks on wood*

Nope, which is shocking considering I always drop my phone, and iPhones are known for being pretty fragile. I do think having a proper case does help though and its definitely worth paying extra for a quality one.

Nope! I don't know how but none of them broke.
The one I currently have has a rubber case so whenever I drop it it just bounces but never breaks which is cool hehe.

yes my first iphone was wrecked but it somehow still worked. also i dropped my new phone in the sink idk how long it was in there but it was messed up for a few days but somehow survived
