once i was running to catch the bus and my phone fell on the floor. i was really late so i didnt even look at it, just caught it and kept running. the moment i finally sat down like 3 minutes after and decided to look at my phone...... saddest ive ever been. it was completely cracked.
Not totally broken, however, I had two phones once which both had the problem that the
plug for the headphones wouldn't work anymore. The phones acted like if there wouldn't
be any headphones in the plug and when I started to play music, the music came out of
the phone's speaker. I hated that when that happened, because I use my phone when
I'm on the road to listen to some music. I now have a phone which luckily doesn't have
that problem at all and I hope it will never have this problem.
i've never broken any of my phones, but i did have one phone that was so slow because of its age. it took several minutes just to open a simple app. playing games on it was impossible
no but i've dropped it several times D: the worst instance was once at a con i was wandering around the registration area for some reason (don't remember why) and i somehow dropped my phone, kicked it with my foot, and sent it sliding across the floor into the registration line and some nice dude stopped it and picked it up for me
the worst damage i've done to my phone was when i cracked the screen at the airport while on my way to orlando. or when i broke the headphone jack & microphone
not really? the worst i had was that, after using it for about 4 years and dropping it often enough, that my old phone‘s screen would sometimes take a greenish hue (went away with locking and unlocking it, so nothing major) and that the screen itself got little air-filled areas where the screen started to come off i think? i tried it out the other day and except for the abysmal battery (i mean, it lasts for 2 whole days when untouched, but still) it seemed to work fine - so yay for being indestructible so far?
as for my current phone - love to shove it in my pockets with my keys. is my screen scratched at certain areas? yes. do i hate it with a passion? absolutely.
I've broken one phone quite badly by dropping it on concrete when I was getting changed for my swim teacher job, messed up the bottom right corner of the screen pretty bad but I kept using it until the back button wouldn't work anymore and the keyboard got all crazy and I could only communicate through emojis haha
not in the "cracked" or "wrecked" sense, though i think water seeped into my first phone not long after my parents bought it for me. i could hear the other person, but they couldn't hear me
i'm not really scared of breaking my phone bc i've been careful. what really scares me is stepping on my airpods by accident. before i had airpods, i had the earphones with wires and i unknowingly stepped on those on the concrete. my heart was shattered when i saw the pieces
no I've never broken a phone. I don't really understand how people break their phones because I drop my phone all the time and sometimes I throw it, but it's never broken it or cracked the screen. I even used to take my older iphone 4s into the shower with me because I would randomly get ideas and want to write something down. That phone still works too.
Yes... I dropped my phone and half of the screen just went fuzzy. I have no clue why only half of the screen died, but yeah that happened. I got a newer phone which had battery issues when you use wireless charging (battery started to puff up...). Got both phones fixed and my Dad uses my old phone while I use my now refurbished, less-battery-exploding device!
