I had to yesterday and lets just say its terrifying if you right in the middle of it. Especially when you occasionally get blinded by the lightning flashes.
Nope. My mom would beat the rice out of me XD But when I'm old enough to live on my own- You bet I'll still stay inside being a lazy sushi roll playing video games! Lol
I've been on the highway during some pretty intense storms. Outside of a car, luckily no. I love watching them, but not when I'm standing in the middle of a field.
yeah, i remember running to the park barefoot with my sister in the middle of this massive storm, after we got angry at our dad for some petty ass reason. and it was right after we got home from her elementary school graduation so we were in dresses hahaha oh boy that was pretty great
When I was in Marching Band, the first game of the year (that we played at), we were out during a lightning storm. And the last game we were at we were out during a thunderstorm. I liked it because it was kinda exciting.
Quite a few times, actually. One event that comes to mind was last year, when my family drove an hour in the middle of a thunderstorm to go to my sister's favorite restaurant. It was her birthday.
Oh yeah, I'm a trained tornado spotter so I actively and willingly go out in severe weather. You're not alive until you're standing under the wall cloud of a supercell or in the rear flank downdraft of a mesocyclone. I actually prefer severe weather. Ever since I was a kid I've loved it. I grew up in tornado alley so it's nothing I was ever afraid of. When I was a teen still at home and a storm went tornado warned I was running outside to enjoy it. Thunderstorms are a cake walk for me.
yeah a few times because i had to or because i was outside when it started. one time there was a thunderstorm late at night. we had been at my grandma's place and were going back to our summer place that is in the middle of a forest, and at the time you had to walk a few hundred meters to get to the house (since then we've built a road so now it's only like 40-50 meters yay). Walking those 300 meters or so that night was really scary because it was super dark, the wind was extremely strong making it feel like they were going to fall down on us, it was raining like crazy, and to top it all off there was lightning going off close to us (light and sound came very close in time). ): not great wouldnt do it again
i like being out in the rain sometimes but if there's thunder i really don't want to be outside. i don't like thunderstorms at all, they're scary and loud ):
