Have you ever wanted to change your name?

yeah, i think most people have thought about it at some point. i've already changed my last name from my biological dad's to my grandpa's. currently i wish i could get rid of my middle name but it's also not worth the like, $200 or something it costs to do that so i just pretend it doesn't exist instead.

I don't care for my name and find it way too generic. But I also don't think I would be mentally prepared to undergo a new identity either. Such a change would be more drastic than I could envision. It's not serious enough for me to go through with that.

Yes, but it's a little complicated. I do not like hearing my name but I cannot imagine what I want to hear instead. There are a couple of names I'm fine with being called online, in a game, or even in my head, but if I heard someone call me them irl then it wouldn't feel normal at all.

I still feel this way but one of the main issues is I can't just pick one name. I've been going by multiple simultaneously, especially around friends.
