have you started thinking about which villagers you want?

assuming that all villagers that were in new leaf and including the 7 (?) new ones we know of so far and possibly any others, what villagers do you want living on your island?

i?m not sure how many villagers (islanders) we?ll be able to have but i?m preparing for 10 and possibly more.

for me, the villagers i want are:

normal: skye
peppy: bonbon/sprinkle
snooty: vivian
uchi: fuchsia
lazy: beau
jock: bam/rudy
cranky: murphy/dobie
smug: leopold

i?ll likely alter this list the closer we get to new horizons as i?m assuming we?ll find out more about which villagers are returning and how many we can have living on our island

I have!!! I want pretty much the same villagers that I had in New Leaf. However, there may be some new ones that I might like even more! I am not sure yet, but I love to plan! I definitely want Bea, Ed, Bob, Bunnie, Deirdre, Wolfgang, Rudy, Cleo and Mitzi. The rest I'm not sure yet. I really do hope that we can have more in this game -- I always felt so restricted by the cap off at 10!

I've always liked Mitzi since she was the first villager I ever met back when Animal Crossing for the GameCube came out, but I don't think I'll make an effort to "buy" her. I like my games with whatever villagers are given to me.

i've thought about this question quite a bit and have made multiple lists that always end up getting rid of a character and adding one, but i also would really like to have random villagers move in because i never fully let myself do that in other games and always wanted to try it. with that in mind, i believe i've found a good solution for this; i'll pick one of each villager from all the personality types as "permanent" residents and then let the rest of the spots on my island be filled with random villagers. i'm thinking that the random villagers may have their homes in a mock campsite space even though their homes will probably not stay a tent.

To me it's not about appearences, it's about the memories I have made with them. They are like family to me, I could never play Animal Crossing without them

I really hate to admit it, but yes, I have. I promised myself I wouldn't fret over my villagers and hunt down specific ones... but I can't help myself and I've picked a few so far, though I am going to be more open with the rest of my villagers.

I currently want Skye, Wolfgang and the new reddish-orange wolf that was leaked a while ago on the decal/stickers since she LOOKS like she could be a Peppy Wolf which would be a first, I think?

In previous versions of the game, I couldn't care less about my neighbors. Even leading up to this game, I didn't care, but then real life happened.

We lost my mom to an abbreviated fight with cancer last March. She wasn't a huge fan of the series, but owned a 3DS because I did, and played Animal Crossing because I did. Her name was Molly, and her birthday was February 10th. Therefore, the two neighbors I will more than likely have to have are Molly, for obvious reasons, and Stitches, because she shares my mom's birthday.

Most are repeats from new leaf/other previous games bc I can't imagine not playing w them! But tentatively: Kid Cat, Fauna, Diana, Bob, Zucker, Jeremiah, Bob, Willow, Sterling, Willow (Or Etoile if I can ever get my hand son her card!) Backup/Alternatives: Fang, Flurry Pinky, Marina, Gayle

If we can influence the sheep villagers to wear scarves, then I would love Etoile back in my town. She is so cute and I love to knit and spin so sheep are right up my alley. I don't think I would actively seek out anybody though. It is more fun for me to just play and see who comes and who leaves. Though if I can subtly influence people leaving a little bit faster, I wouldn't mind it. I just feel so mean to kick them out with the amiibo cards.

Keaton is the only villager I have to have on my island. But I'd be happy if Dotty, Katt, Jerimiah, Rudy or Dobie showed up.

Yeah, peppy uchi or lazy would be a first for the wolf type

As for.me, I do have a few I want to have for sentimental value, but if they up the cap, I’d like to have two of each personality
