I love both artstyles you have shown in your post but I can't help but notice that the character doesn't look in line with the rest of the assets. I think it's that she looks too minimalistic compared to the environment she's in. Maybe some shading on her textures and additional detail to her clothes could help fix that? Maybe it's just a wip model and I'm being picky but thought that I'd at least point it out :p

Good luck on making that game cause it will take years
OMG I can't even imagine how much work you'll have to do to make that game.

Hi! Sorry for the very very long delay. I was so busy this last months! And the good new is : it was because of the game! Yes, a lot of great things happened and I?m very excited to tell you all about it!

First, I had the great opportunity to go to the GDC at San Francisco last March. GDC is the abbreviation for ?Game Developers Conferences? and it?s basically one of the biggest professional events in the video game industry. I met a ton of cool people who gave me a lot of good advices for the development of the game. I feel more enthusiastic than ever!

I?ve also made a ?mood trailer? for the game. There?s no gameplay to show you for the moment but this (very) short video could give you clues about the atmosphere of the game. As you can see, I spent a lot of time to imagine and design the look of the game. A big decision was to take inspiration from the French country side for the environment. I hope you like it!

About that, I think it?s time to move for another name for the game. ?Country Home? is too generic and doesn?t fit, don?t you think? I would like to choose a French word, maybe something like "Perlimpin", "Mistigri", "Marmelade" or "Clafoutis". It would be awesome if you can help me to choose! And feel free to say if the names are ridiculous. ;)

Again, I?m so sorry for this long silence. I had to take a moment to think deeper about how I want to make this game! I hope you like the new visuals. From now on, I will communicate more!

What is the game being made with? This is really cool, consider me intrigued.

Wow, that first image is giving me Studio Ghibli vibes. As for the title name, I'm thinking of going for either Perlimpin or Clafoutis. Great to see you're still developing the game! Your long absence gave me the impression that you stopped for good.

Your game looks beautiful! I'd definitely be interested in hearing more about it. And I agree with Shellzilla about the Studio Ghibli vibes...very peaceful and natural. Keep up the great work!
