They are trying to pass a law where I live to not let people talk on the cell phones and drive at the same time. Now there are probably exceptions to this like wearing a headset. My car comes with a hands-free phone so we don't have to worry about it. :lol:

Using your hand isn't the problem. It's the fact that you are talking. When you are trying you multi-task such as talking on the phone while driving your concentration is spilt in half and you have a better chance of having an .

Hands sometimes is the problem. With only one hand on the stearing wheel, it's harder to manuveur than when you would have two hands on the wheel. Talking is also a problem because it distracts you, but tons of things distract you when you are driving.
